100%. Great comment! I've been saying this since the beginning of this season. The progression of this team is obvious. Opposition fans just predict we're going to choke based on coming 2nd last season. This team has proven it has improved mentally over the course of this season. We are just getting stronger, while City and Liverpool have peaked. The next 5 yrs belongs to Arsenal. This is the start of our trophy winning era. Other fans can't accept this. We're going through typical patterns I've seen of title winning teams over the past 3 decades. Trophies are inevitable and rival fans can't stand the fact we're unstoppable!

Liverpool fan here. Arsenal are relentless indeed. They have real quality in the side and they deserve massive credit. I haven't ever seen a tittle race like this one with 3 teams in it at this stage. It was hard enough keeping City at bay and now we also have to deal with Arsenal. It's not a 50/50 ball duel to say the defender touches the ball 1st. It is a ball under the control of one player, a dribbled past him and he blocks that movement. A movement that leads goal-scoring opportunities. 100% a penalty, not a 50/50 ball duel.

I know a lot of people are expecting us to drop off as we still have a lot to play for, which yes I agree that can easily happen. However, I think we’re still learning what this team can actually achieve when fully fit. If I was told at the beginning of the year that we would’ve only conceded 4 goals with a + 51 goal difference by April, I would never have believed it. So it goes to show this team is already defying the odds.
I’m just going to enjoy our wins at the moment and take it game by game until the end of the season; If we don’t win the PL, then we move on to next season and assess what additions we can recruit in the summer to help us compete again next season.

If u watch the havertz goal u will see 5 brighton players in the box and 1 arsenal player in havertz. His movement in the box led to his goal.
Lamptey touched the ball, but it was such a soft touch that it barely affected the trajectory and speed of the ball. If Lamptey hadn't then gone into Jesus, Jesus would've easily continued on with the ball in his possession. So, yep, it was a penalty.

Win or lose this season, we've been wonderful to watch, I haven't enjoyed an arsenal season like this in a long long time! I know for sure, next season we're definitely winning the title! With Klopp Gone, and City getting spanked by the FA, we'll run away with the title next season, all we need is a striker and I believe we'll be perfect!! We haven't had such amazing players in each and every position since the unbeaten season!! When Havertz was signed I thought he would fit in our team well, after five games I had second thoughts as it looked like we were playing with ten men. Great to see Havertz being so important for us.

Awful take! Lamptey didn't win the ball and it would have been right at Jesus' feet had he not been taken out. The fact Lamptey's boot ever so slightly grazed the ball while barely affecting it's trajectory is of no consequence.
