Cloud's whole character and bad boy demeanor is a facsimile based on what his idea of a cool bad ass is in order to help him cope with a lot of bullshit, partially inspired by his friend Zack even though Zack isn't anything like that. In other words Sora is saying he wants to base his personality on a guy who's already basing his personality on someone else. Plus, lots of adolescent boys wanted to be a cool sword guy trust me I know

Wayne's Clayton was so fucking funny to me. The world's most incompetent hunter who keeps only bringing one bullet and is convinced that killing people will bring them to the next level of the game which is winnie the pooh is such a fucking funny concept to me

The queen of hearts was so bizarrely in character here. Like tripling the payment instead of doubling it and throwing Alice in jail because Sora made her realize she’s not a heart doctor in the heart themed kingdom despite hiring her for something else entirely seem like things straight from the book or movie
Honestly, Wonderland itself felt bizarrely in character. For as much as it went off the rails, it still seemed like it was as it always is.
I guess that's thing with setting surreal stories in surreal places as opposed to "normal" places

Honestly, I love that dialogue. It reminds me of an Alice that is a young adult - old enough to maneuver socially into things that benefit her, but not enough power or seniority to stop herself from being saddled with inane rules.

*Theory:* I think this version of Clayton is just a grown-up Christopher Robin. He's British, his name begins with C, he's obsessed with Winnie The Pooh, he is literally wearing Winnie the Pooh's colours. My guess is that the strain of adulthood broke his mind and he has now become devout to "delivering" animals to the Hundred Acre Wood by killing them as a sick way of showing his love for Winnie the Pooh. The fact that Sora is also developing a similar bloodlust is a crooked, thematic mirror to Christopher's own breakdown.
