This reminds me of going to tattoo conventions. I always wanna get more stuff then I actually end up getting 🤣 those conventions are always so crowded.
In the "olden days" we drank from a percolator. Talk about wonderful coffee! Oh, those were the days!! "Hope Everything Comes Out OK" would have to hang in my bathroom!! I mean, really!!
I always overestimate or underestimate the time I need to do things like that. Seems like when I plan to a T it just messes me up even more! I was afraid you had a bad day because I kept waiting for you to post a video. I hate you had such a rough day but glad you got to enjoy some of it! Wish there were local yarn shops near me, I’m gonna have to dig and just find one I can go check out. Rural living means no shops like that 😭 I’ve had a messed up week so I’ve missed several of your lives but I always try to watch them after the fact I just haven’t been able to get much done lately. Ugh is something in retrograde 😜
Sorry things didn't go how you expected, but now you'll for sure have a better plan next year!!! You were better prepared than I would've been lol. Love the baby hanks.....they look so rich in color.
Too funny! I do a quilt shop in my area in October. I have the same thing happen to me without the coffee stops. There's never enough time, especially since a couple of them sell yarn too. I knit, so I have to look! Planning early helps. Enjoy your personal yarn and coffee shop hop! It sounds like fun.
I suspect your video showed up in my feed because I'm a knitter who lives in the Twin Cities. I am super annoyed I missed this event! I had no idea it existed! Anyways, love the channel.
Knitter in the Twin Cities?!? First off, welcome and wonderful to meet you! Second, totally mark this on your calendar next year. Have you been to all of these shops already?
you did great. it was a very ambitious plan. but you had a great day anyways. when i lived up north i would go to Stillwater often- but never on Sat or Sun--- totally tourist traffic jam. i love the idea of a coffee and yarn field trip. perfection.
OMG I would totally go with you for something like that! Wish they had something like that here sounds like so much fun! Next year will be better!!! Thanks for sharing! Hugs from Nebraska!
Absolutely Amazing . I am quite envious, as we only have one yarn shop in our town and No Hot Pink yarns :( Mostly buying yarn online and that's fine, but really miss out on 'handling' all of the wonderful fibers. Thanks for sharing your shop-hop. Luv the yarn dungeon, btw
Fellow Michigander here. I'm in the same way, I've only got about 3 yarn stores near me but when I say near I mean nearly an hour away. I wish I had more access.
Not sure where you are located but there is a Fiber Expo every spring and fall in Ann Arbor! I just went to the spring one last weekend and there was so much beautiful yarn.
@@raesyarnaddiction I know. I started buying hand dyed stuff online and I can’t stand the feel of red heart anymore. Lion brand is ok but I only buy entire kits from them
That's too bad that it didn't go as planned, but I'm glad you made the most of it! I have a weird compliment. This video was riveting and fun in the way that I imagine horror fans feel about that genre. I know horror is one of your fave things so I thought you might like to know that in my brain you're almost kinda starring in your own horror movie here. XD Something like, "Empty Bins: A Crocheter's Nightmare." IDK. Anyway great video and see you at the live!
Maybe I should start doing a "My favorite comment of the week" because this wins! I can see the movie now, "Empty bins everywhere, with no stash yarn in sight." LOL! Thanks for the laugh!🎃
Meanwhile, there isn't a one yarn shop in my medium-sized town, and I haven't heard of any yarn shops to exist in the rest of the county. (The only yarn shop in my town folded at Christmas.) Shops that sell everything else may have a small shelf of a limited selection of basic yarns and Lidl's brother, Aldi has yarn events from time to time, never selling the same colourways twice. Only the yarn events may have cakes, but no more than two options. So, while I try to encourage the shops to keep selling yarn, I buy most of mine online.
Hello my friend how are you doing today good afternoon my friend I hope you have a wonderful day today you are truly amazing I appreciate so much take care your friend Mr Erin

That’s a pretty accurate comparison for sure! 😂

Omg! I live in Edina! I had no idea you were in the same area!

Omg, quilting supplies and yarn? Yeah I'd need a few months to look through all that😂

Yes lesson learned! Saturday is not the day to go😂
Sounds like a heck of a day 😅 also I love your hoodie!
This was really cool Kayla!!! Thanks for sharing!!! Have a good night!!!

It is very amazing that there are this many yarn shops near me. Thanks for hanging out!🎃
I want to do something like this in Michigan. I’m in a yarn craft desert. 😭

I am also a Michigander here and my yarn options are Joann’s Michaels or Walmart… I would love to be able to get better yarn!
@@marie8812 is there a website I can sign up for notification on this? I’d definitely use some vacation time for that

Just moved to the area in January and wish I would've known about this! How fun!
It's totally worth putting on your calendar for next year!
Needle and Skein is where I had my 2nd trunk show! They're so wonderful in there.
I absolutely want to go back and hang out🎃
@@AltKnots me too, but it's a 3.5 hour drive for me. Maybe next time I'm up in the area I'll have the time to stop in. They were so kind to me.
You should really get a Renfield to drive you around when you have daylight business.
This is seriously a great idea!😂

The yarn you got from Muse was awesome though!!
Honestly, Sarah saved the day by putting these baby hanks out on Saturday🎃
