Thank you to pointing it out. It's just another little gem that only gets noticed after watching and re-watching the entire series. Like Martin Sheen and the jacket - never noticed til someone mentions it!
@@quasicroissant What does F#@K All mean. A lot? I liked that they actually cared about Americans and a least tried to get things done. The show was all about compromising in politics.
'Capital' Beat? To make an error like that for such a prestigious undertaking is both disrespectful and ignorant. That's why God invented dictionaries.
Nice catch. But, which dictionary did you use? CAPITOL is a building or buildings. .CAPITAL has many other meanings. The round table discussion show "Capitol Beat" is mentioned in 5 episodes. On the DVD, and in the transcripts for 2 of those episodes, it is also spelled "Capital Beat." See www.westwingtranscripts.com/ TWW is a comedy/drama, capital/capitol might be just another hidden homonym pun. Was it intentional or accidental?
bluecadillac I must apologize to you for my earlier comment. I now realize that both spellings of the word were used throughout the life of TWW. I appreciate the fact that you wrote your reply to me in an adult-like and civil manner.
"It was a show that gives people hope."
Absolutely!
I still use the quote on some mornings. “It’s not a nightmare you actually are a father. You need to dig in now and get to work “

this show makes me well up with tears so many times
The carving knife scene between Jed and Charlie turns me into a blubbering idiot every time.
I knew very little about Washington back room deals, then watched TWW. It was the best show ever made, written or acted, bar none.
It still gives me hope. It’s sad to say, it still is it’s still the only thing.
I always had a "thing" for Dee Dee Myers :) :) :) Attractive, highly intelligent, and quick witted !!!!!!
I know the feeling. I always felt the same way about Dana Perino.
And boy do both of them make a lot of money now. Sorry fellas but we’re out of their league 😆
Best damn television program ever.
I would like to see how Soarkin would handle the pandemic
I'm an atheist, but I prayed to any and all God's that my American government could be like The West Wing.
why would you? The Bartlet administration gets fuck all done
