This is what you need to do if the boiler doesn't restart after you've run out of oil (and refilled the oil). You need to press the lockout reset button at the same time to get the oil pump to spin. Very helpful. I got our Worcester Heatslave 15/19 restarted this way - very simple.

Thanks so much for this ran out of oil again and didn't want to annoy my poor service engineer... it was so simple once I got your video

Mine is locking out after 4or5mins each time. So to do this I have the boiler switched on and press the reset button and loosen this bolt. Wait until fuel starts leaking out then re tighten.

    Hi Danfoss,
I've opened the P port multiple times, some oil drips out then I tighten it back up although it still goes to lockout. How long should I keep the P port open for?

Are you sure your oil line is open? Fuel will readily come out that port

Hi Danfoss. I need a new o ring for the P port plug. Could you give me the part number or confirm the size please?

      Dear Ian
The right o-ring to use in this relation is: 071N0604 plug P&V port with o-Ring. Please visit our ‘Burner Converter’ via this link: convert.burner.danfoss.com - it will guide you in similar situations in the future.

      Hi Astro Sync
      Thanks for commenting.
If you are trying to loosen the P-port to bleed the pump, please make sure you are applying torque in the right direction. To loosen rotate it counter clockwise.
Loosening the port plug should not require much force. The port is only tightened with 3Nm of force.
If you are unable to open the p-port we recommend reaching out to a certified technician to get the pump / boiler / application serviced.
Good luck and have a good day
