After listening to this banter about the PS5 Pro, I can't see how anyone could use this information to make an informed decision. The waffling back and forth was nauseating. Truly never gave a reason to get it the entire time, but did say if you haven't upgraded to PS5 yet go get the PRO. What??? Damn brother I'm trying to rock with you, but this is embarrassing.

No need to hate! I loved this discussion!

No one has the actual information until the most recent videos of people having hands on. If we get one, I'll share more thoughts there. You may call it "waffling" but I prefer to call it nuanced discussion. Do appreciate you watching and the comment.

@@RevNunnWisdom where's the hate? Nothing I said was untrue or outside of opinion. So, disagreeing with the show is hate? Help me understand.

@@SpawnonMe I call it "waffling" because that is exactly what your co-host did. If one vacillates from one stand point to a totally different one, that's "waffling" sir. He has his right to waffle, but as I said previously I thought I was getting an informed view which I didn't. But that's on me.

Last gen made the mistake of buying 4 consoles, 2 xbox's and playstation's due to the mid gen upgrade shit.
Swore to just go for PC this gen and so glad we did.
Truly don't get the hate for updating drivers, you do it like once every 2 months, PC updates way less than consoles, games also just simply run, they even have a console mode on Steam, like truly don't get how the argument has shifted from "But price" to "But ease of use".
Yes a PC is pricey but compared to buying 4 consoles in a gen all of which are underpowered and push graphics over framerate despite them understanding more gamers opt for performance than pretty. It's not that pricey, this rig will also last a whole other gen as there's no way next gen is gonna be running stuff based off of a 4090 and that. Not yet. And with cheaper games, PC is more about a cost upfront vs over time these days.
But to claim PC isn't as easy as a console is just odd, cause unless you're trying to run a modded, HEAVILY modded game, you click download, you click play, it plays.
Never once had an issue with launching a game unless it was after adding a fuck ton of mods.
Someone gave us a PS5 this gen, outright gave, used it for Spider Man 2, Alan Wake 2 and er... Maybe Miles as this was before Miles hit the PC.
Moving between PS5 and PC is honestly like well it makes the PS5 feel like a Switch, the graphics on Horizon are mind blowing... On PC, they're realllllly fuzzy on PS5 on the same exact monitor, also 120fps vs 30fps it feels like shit playing it.
Genuinely 60fps was the stickler this gen for us, if we got that, would've happily put up with mediocre graphics as without a PC you genuinely don't know how meh console games look, but 30fps feels like shit these days, hell it kinda always did but it was all we knew. And having finally gone the PC route, don't see us ever going for a non Nintendo console again.

As a person who worked for a decade in IT you have to accomidate users with the lowest knowlege of how PC's work. Folks like us often don't account for and dismiss their expereiences. I totally get your thinking here but it is important to factor those people in too.
