Congrats on the promotion sir. I am prior service who recently just graduated college and I am thinking about calling my recruiter for rejoining as an officer. I plan to follow everything you documented throughout your experience at OCS to succeed.
I’m currently in the Army Reserves and my packet goes before the Selection Board next month (16 Sept 19) and I’m hoping to get selected and began training in the spring....
Hey guys, I have a quick question. I am a Marine right now so our system works a bit differently. Like when we say basic training we mean the 13 weeks of bootcamp and not including our MOS school. But it seems Army includes their MOS school in their basic training packet(I could be wrong) so how many weeks is your OCS course from the time you enter to the time you are an officer ?(not your branch school)
Lt try to get up to the Bering sea perhaps you would be able to see Russia there is a body of water that separate s Russia from USA . It's similar to the rock of Gibraltar and North Africa on a clear day you can see morocco. Also take a train ride on the Alaska railroad I hear it is amazing . Is your wife going with you to your next duty station ?

Phi thanks for your info.... Question: is OCS Mon-Fri with the weekends off or is it seven days of training?
Lance Driskell OCS is Monday - Saturday with Sunday’s off, bro!

Do you get weekends (sat, sun) off every week there?
