Talking about replaceability of people. I don’t think that’s ever true. Cuz no matter how many people I’ve met across my life, no one can really replace other. Some can be similar but can never to be the same.
What I want to say is, all of us are unique, and can never be replaced. And that’s a beautiful thing and come to show how everyone including you have a special place in this world to exist and be you.
Life is brief, life happens only once, you can never meet the same person twice. And that what makes life so precious.

Personally, I interpret the reflection as Fern and Stark bringing memories of Heiter and Eisen to their present adventure with Frieren - essentially being raised and shaped by Heiter and Eisen. Frieren get to see and share all four of their lives after those experiences and lessons.
For now, I guess Frieren has to carry the memories of Himmel alone.
None of the 3 from the old team can be replaced, that's not what the reflection is about...

What I really love about this is Frieren is the only one whos looking back. Kinda to symbolize Stark and Fern moving forward and looking to the future while Frieren keeps reminiscing about the past.

Freelen's music is beautiful and dreamy.
What impressed me most were the pictures. When the hero Himmel and his group float to the surface of the water, it shows the difference between the past and the present. I thought it was a very nice picture.

I can most certainly hear Evan Call's Violet Evergarden touch in the OSTs that he has worked on for Frieren. I absolutely love his music, truly beautiful.
yeah, when I watched the first episode, i was like 'hey, i know these instruments/vocalss!' and checked immediately if the composer was Evan Call, which it was, and i knew this was gonna be a banger of an anime

This is one of those rare pieces that’s just… into you soul. I don’t know if that has a term, a rare handful of soundtracks that make you feel a certain way and speak to you uniquely to most. Can’t stop listening it’s so good all the way through

Just finished watching Frieren the other day and now I can't stop listening to this. It gives me a reassuring yet magical feeling and now all I'm thinking is how human lives are short and I should enjoy every single day to the fullest.

This anime blew me away. It will be one of my favorites for the rest of my life, no doubt. And there will be at least one more season. :) I feel truly blessed to get to experience this masterpiece.
I really don't want Frieren to come to an End. It's just been months but it feels like we've been altogether with Frieren from ages. One of the simplest yet most beautiful anime, with capacity to change one's mind & heart to the core in just one episode 🤍.

We are grateful to the United States of America for giving someone as talented as Evan Call to the Japanese entertainment industry at no cost. There is no doubt that he is building a big part of the world of this animated work.
The USA is filled with chaotic and violent 'people'. Japan is filled with cooperative humans, they are also 98% Japanese. Homogeneity is what creates an amazing country.
I mean, I hope they're still paying the dude some money for his music.

One thing i LOVE about this anime is that it has such a powerful character and world building that one can make 10+ seasons of just pure adventures and there would always be more stuff to add. What if we get acual journey season or grafs life story or that elfs life that organized games or life of all participants
This honestly has potential to be as huge as any mainstream animes like Goku or that one where Luffy is in forgot the name 💀
What a wonderful atmospheric track about the passage of time. No matter how many times I listen to it, it never gets old. Just like Frieren herself...
Time, the only "thing" that cant touch, cant see, cant smell, can hear, cant "feel" but we all know that exist, that is wonderful!
It's weird, and pretty amazing, when an anime feels like home
while frieren is living in the present, she still looking back in her previous and beloved Hero Party team, wishing to reconnect in a personal and emotional level. Now that she have the remnants of her party, she wants to make up and be different this time so she wont regret every single day. Being an elf with almost an eternal life is like a double edge sword.
Imagine a AAA virtual open world Frieren game with cel-shaded graphics and cyberpunk-quality narratives with the original composers for the music.
That would be great!
Seeing the second season is not guaranteed, even now there are certainly those who started watching Frieren who have already passed away before the closing episode aired.
Take nothing for granted, cherish every moment and use your time wisely. You will only find immortality in the impacts you have made upon others. None of us have the luxury of a millennia to learn this lesson. How long will a decade be for you?

*Two Millenniums after Himmel's Death, Frieren reunited with The Party 🌳*
This music is perfect for Sousou no Frieren. The anime is a great adventure and its world is olden to a much greater extent that the world of Violet Evergarden... In Violet Evergarden the music is beautiful, but here it feels natural. Sousou no Frieren is one of the best stories ever for me. A adventure I'd love to be apart of, same caliber as The Lord of the Rings, for me.
You notice the short segments of fence? In real life that happens due to wear and tear of the full fence over time, and those pieces are just what remain. A great way of symbalizing the passage of time, the fences are like memories that arent quite ready to fade just yet. It would have been even better if the reflection showed the full fence in its prime to bring even more meaning to an already complex image. Frieren and its community never cease to exceed my expectations in terms of fan madr artwork and story telling
I really like the explanation, but I'm not sure whether the artist thought that deeply about it.
If it truly symbolized the passage of time and (in this case) decay, the remaining fences should have obvious visible damage, rotting wood, that sort of stuff.

I hope Frieren will become new steins gate. Classic that everyone recommends new anime watchers. Frieren isn't an anime for specific group it's a compelling story for everyone.

Stein's gate is just bad though. The first half of that anime is pure torture. The second half just turns into a love story born out of thin air that nullifies whatever they were going for with CERN, etc.
Enoughwith Steins;Gate. It’s ok-ish at best. It’s too slow and boring, and the way it deals with the concept of time travel is cliche at best

Also I'd like to say there is no one to take Himmel's place. His presence remains in Frieren's life from their 10 year quest to her current journey. This has quickly become one of my favorite shows.

Sometimes, things can't be explained by words, but images, actions and even simple music can explain everything. Even though it can't truly be put into words, this peice is unique in a special way.

Its unfair to debate what anime is better FMAB or Frieren They both come from different times, But frieren is the first anime (IMO) since brotherhood to be worthy of the title as #1 anime Everything this show did was beyond perfect it makes you cry, it makes you happy, and some episode feel like they are an hour long when they are only 20 min but they also leave you wanting more. I bet this is the best anime that i ever saw. yeah i love one piece and naruto, but the message that the anime gives me, is something else. i think its because nowdays im an adult and if i were a teenager would feel that story strike me so hard. well, lets be honest folks life is all about missing some parts and people that was with us. i miss the ones that are now resting in peace and will miss antoher ones for sure but this is all life is about. looking at the bright side of living with them and not just thinking about the loss. this is why frieren keeps going i guess
