Y’know what I find funny about marine is that her gimmick is kinda how she has that water breathing stat, and in hilltop you can unlock Neo Metal, which has infinite underwater breathing time. And flight. And he’s way easier to unlock. 😬
I don't know if this is gonna be a hot take but I think marine's event might be the weakest part of this update. Everything else about this update is great with Cream's new quest, the new achievement system, knuckles's glide, classic lost valley and even them turning the gold eggs into an okay thing now instead of it being the worst part of the game(or maybe I'm just saying that because I got gold knuckles from it first try). Meanwhile Marine's quest is just brutal for the sake of being brutal. It really needs to have the witch rouge event treatment and have the amount of chao fruits needed be lowered or just have more chao fruits in hill top in general.
That's a fair opinion, the chao fruit wasn't buffed in hill top when newer events like this ask us for more. At least they could add autorun in Hill Top but that hasn't happened yet...
This update is kick in the butt, the fruits are so poor and they ask for too much, even event chaos don't help at all. Or they double the mount of chao fruits in the map or reduces what you need to complete it.
This event was painfully long, i didn't complete it yet. But i have to say, DJ Knuckles being able to glide is so cool, plus they finally made it possible for free players to get GS Knuckles!

Since im practically almost 100% done with the game, I wanted to give my 2 cents and say that Marine was absolutely the most tiresome and genuinely aggravating. I have ZERO idea why they didn't give it a badnik split like in New Yoke or why the spread wasn't similar to the Ninja Star's in Speed Forest. I feel like im on top of the world for unlocking her but I am 100% sure that not making it gauge based like Rogue was an abysmal idea. 17,500 Chao Fruit, they knew better. 😭
Now we have autorun in Hill Top to reduce some of the pain of chao fruit. I still don't like how uneven the event's requirements are like you mentioned. Gemerl's event might have worked for the amount in Hill Top but it definitely wasn't buffed enough for Marine until this recent update. This gave me flashbacks about the Valentine's candy for the wrong reasons
i prob wont complete the event yet since its too tedious, and also i feel like marine isnt really a skin i was asking for that much. still happy shes in the game tho. but the new gold eggs stuff is driving others crazy, i mean nearly 100 gold androids have been sent out, and its only been 8 hours. happy tho that dj knucks can glide now. we've needed that for a long time
Chaotix since the game hit 1b billion visits they have the code 1billion and it’s a you pet. But it’s not the April fools rarity anymore it’s common. It’s good for new players though,
