That Bale season 12-13 was incredible tbf. Tottenham as a team was much worse under AVB than they were under Redknapp but Bale bailed (pun intended) them out so many. I reckon to go and find Bale's highlights from that season.

In world football you look at world class players, a lot of them play from the LW position. Especially this past decade. Walker has dominated the lot, and at his age the fact he’s still going toe-to-toe with Mbappe & Vini JR to name the 2 current best in that position .. incredible.

You can just tell he was never told to do that, he was never looking at clips right before a game just to memorise body language and habits. Remember that the next time old heads try to say they’d be tearing it up today or that today’s players have it easier
