I see a lot of people skip that those by accident since they don't have round names in the titles. they're not rounds but are important bridges between rounds 5 and 6. A lot of things about Alien Stage are stuck in the world of speculation and theories though a couple things are confirmed by the creator. But yes this is a competition of humans against each other for alien entertainment and the loser is killed. The songs of each round reflect the singer(s) feelings and reflect a lot about their personalities and headspaces in the moment. Such as how Mizi (pink hair) and sua (black hair) really cared about each other and wanted to just be together. A lot of people believe since they obviously knew one of them was going to die (this isn't the first "season" of the show in universe) they decided to enjoy their final moments together as much as possible. It's also my personal belief and others that Mizi thought for sure Sua was going to win, so she's absolutely shocked by the outcome not only because Sua died but also because she was expecting it to be herself and had accepted that. But that's only in the realm of speculation. If you see people sharing extra information and you have no idea where they are getting it from. A lot of extra context is shared in the form of interviews and stuff outside of the videos to help fill in some gaps. But those aren't needed for a general following of the videos, they just give you extra pieces of information like who the "audience" fan favorites are, a closer glimpse at their personalities or how they present themselves for the public vs. personally, some more background about the concept of human pets in this universe etc.

In a deadly competition that pits humans against one another, Mizi and Sua decided to make the most of this chance to sing together while aiming for a tie. It's widely believed (and pretty much confirmed, if memory serves) that Sua intentionally underperformed just enough to ensure Mizi's survival. There's also a short official video called MIZISUA which shows how they met as children.
