If you have there toyota touch 3 or was something called with 3rd version you should be able to update the software like I've in 2020 corolla, but note that a lot of Toyota, came with carplay in standard from year models 2020 it is already as a part of the infotainment system and free of charge. Check well the your system. If was not then simply ask dealership. Older models there is some aftermarket unit to integrate it with original head unit that is what is presented on this video. :)
