Really enjoyed this unusual(ly lovely and fun) interview (both parts) and the chemistry between Sivaangi and Ashwin. Also read several good comments. A few things that struck me about their interaction in this chat: how beautifully Sivaangi is in touch with her emotions and is unafraid to express them with amazing grace and a sharp wit. Ashwin, while gracious and well-mannered, seems guarded and hesitant to express his unqualified appreciation for Sivaangi. It doesn’t matter what the nature of their relationship is, professional or otherwise. They have been partners and collaborators on this wonderful CWC journey and I felt it would be good for him to acknowledge her contributions without reservations which is both a fair and thoughtful thing to do. Though actions and non-verbal cues (and his comments in other interviews) convey some of his gratitude, communicating it through words publicly and directly to her (in such an interview), I think, is an important way to celebrate her. I am sure he can do it in a light-hearted manner in the same way he makes fun of her. In any case, Shivangi seems to possess a wonderful and resilient spirit and the attitude to take it in her stride. More power to her! Of course, all said, I have great regard for Ashwin for his tremendous work ethic, grit, authenticity, creativity, sensitivity and sincerity and wish him every success and much happiness in his career and life. Great show! You are a delightful and charming host, Sakhti! Keep up the good work!
