As a musician I think this will pretty much kill the sync industry in 2025 unless something happens in the lawsuits the labels have going currently. I will say I did catch some inspiration listening to some of the songs, might be a good way to get a production going. People will still gravitate towards artists, but I do feel like music doesn’t dominate pop culture like it used to. Idk if this will further that trend. You can’t stop progress, but it still is a bit sad seeing an entire art form get reduced to a prompt and button.
My issue with Suno is the background noise. If you listen to the song at 11:34, you can hear this weird springy, echoing sound that shows up in nearly all the songs I create. The stems still leave something to be desired as the vocals still track on the instrumental and vice versa. It's still a great program, though.
There’s a strange hype going on, and because of this, influencers are acting like they’re deaf. Suno, on the other hand, is promoting the beta-stage V4, which isn’t even ready yet. For the money I paid, I’m getting nothing but garbage. That annoying background with its cicada-like chirping has made me lose interest in Suno. I won’t be renewing my subscription until this issue is resolved.

I’ve created over 7,600 songs on the platform, but only about 30 are what I’d consider good. I write all my own lyrics and song structures, and just use Suno for the music and vocals. The features Suno offers sound amazing in theory but often fall into a “work or not work” scenario. For example: • Replace Section Feature: When it works, it’s a lifesaver-seamlessly replacing sections with ease. However, when it doesn’t, it becomes frustrating. Sometimes it tries to replace a section I didn’t select, or worse, it stops working altogether, leaving the song “unrescuable.” • Remaster Option: The idea of remastering older songs with updated capabilities is fantastic. Unfortunately, I’ve struggled to get it to work properly. It only remasters a random portion of the song, usually around a minute, instead of the entire track. • Persona Feature: This concept is exciting-creating new songs using a consistent voice style. But in practice, it falls short. Instead of generating something fresh, it often just repeats the song used to create the persona or produces what feels like a “cover” of the original with updated lyrics. It doesn’t truly create a brand-new song with the same voice type. Finally, Customer Service is lacking. The support is slow and often unhelpful, leaving many issues unresolved. Despite these frustrations, I appreciate the potential of Suno. When the features work as intended, they can produce amazing results. I hope the platform continues to improve, as it has so much promise for creators like me.

AI is scary yet very useful
It has serious background noise issues (such as cicada sounds, laser effects, and bird chirping). I can even hear this noise in your video; didn't you notice it?
I don't understand why none of these v4 review videos are mentioning the AWFUL artifacting sound in every song? There's tons of people complaining on reddit, it completely ruins most songs. I also noticed no one is calling this out on yt comments? I just don't get it? You can even hear it on the songs you shared, like at 3:25 it's very noticable.
v4 is a dumpster fire. There's a LOT of problems, 90% of the songs it makes have no emotion anymore, if you take a song and do a cover it looses all the emotion it had. The vocals are cleaner but they are do have issues with emotion. I got better results on 3.5 It's a decent step forward but they need to fix a lot of issues it brought in, including the insane Shimmer effect you get on everything now.
Nice video! Suno really needed those vocals fixed. Sounds really cool. Excellent video! It is very informative, fun to watch, and it's a delight to listen. Thanks.
With Synapticalzombie, every artificially intelligent non-musician can enter their artificially intelligent song lyrics, for example: “Ou ou ou, Synypsenzombie is sooo great”, which is then fitted into “winning” chord sequences (I-vi-ii-V) and every artificially intelligent non-musician is also an artist. I’m disappointed that you didn’t point out any of the flaws and problems that were ADDED by the new V4. Suno has even acknowledged some of them publicly and promised it’s working on them. I am sure they are, but I’m surprised you didn’t come across them. It took me just 2-3 hours of playing with it. Anyway, here’s to hoping V4 gets fixed soon. Nothing more frustrating than generating a song you like, only to suddenly have “shimmering” noises ruin it. Oh, and the “remastering” is more misses than hits so far, but will be great to have if fixed.
I didn't know about those problems. I played with it for a couple days and didn't have any of those issues. Someone else commented on the shimmering noise, I haven't heard that, but it definitely sounds frustrating
@@t2rx7crx1 I saw the same, thanks! I haven’t tried it yet, but, still, this means there is a problem. I think Suno will fix this, and other reported problems, but I am surprised they released the much awaited V4 in such poor shape. I remain a subscriber, however.
I'm subscribed to Udio, but the lyrics are getting stale. I so badly would love to see a comparison video with Suno v4. The stem bleed in Udio is pretty bad, which hurts in post. Unfortunately Suno doesn't have a trial with v4. Great video. Thanks for it all. 💯
It sounds great but what I’m looking for is to be able to sing a full song and have Suno create the music with all the lyrics for like a 3-5 min song. I think it only allows 30 seconds right now

I still find I can hear the autotune like sound in the vocals. It's 'better' much better, but nowhere near sounding non AI imo. Udio still kills it for vocals, its just much harder to get nice melodies.
i've got old poor quality tape recordings from the 90s. Any way to 'restore' those songs with Suno as if they were recorded in a studio, but keeping the vocals and the music same as source?
Suno doesn't do modern pseudoatonality = not truly randomized but horrorish composition like Akio Yashiro and Tōru Takemitsu. In some instrumentals it reaches the horrorish mood for a minute and then reverts to common melancholy or melancholy with some dissonance which isn't true pseudoatonality. Also many times it interprets atonality not as a horrorish composition using the chromatic scale, but as a blurry recording of unclear notes with unclear compositional layout = this is different and it CAN be defined in English. The Suno people do NOT care to program atonality and horrorish pseudoatonality. The vast majority of people believe that atonality is some sad weird melody with dissonance, but that's wrong. The 13 semitones interval is very horror, the one semitone interval also, the 11 semitones interval also. Not all negative emotions are variations of sadness as lay people believe. Thus Suno will never be able to compose true horrorish pseudoatonality because it doesn't use horrorish pseudoatonality composers to teach it. Rare genres get distorted by lay people because lay people use common words, and understand common meanings, and also understand disharmony as part of altered harmony and not as a genre with its own characteristics.
It’s so much better, but honestly I’m working generating some samples for a witch house song I’m working on and I keep getting this weird beeping in every. song. You can hear it in his song at 3:35
Don't you listen some weird artifacts in the background of v4 music? I've been testing it out for some days now and keep listening to the same noise, I can't describe it better than a "grind" sound.
It does sound fake, but i'm sure we will have radio/spotify ai generated hits soon with milons of play. On the other hand i think this will help promote live music more since people don't like fakes. Realeasing and listening full LPs like in the old days too. It's the end for mathematical musicians and a chance for musicians with souls that shine on the live scene. I think most bands make most of their money on concerts not streaming anyway.
Me and my buddy mess around with this and send each other offensive lyrics about each other in song format. It’s fun for that. I was wondering what the copyright issue would be if you were to generate a song and then re-record it and release it. Would anyone know?
I think that Suno V4 sucks. The vocals are clearer at the expense of the music and emotion of the voices. I've remastered all my songs with V4 several times and none of them come close to V3.5, the voices never blend well with the music and some of my Snot Rockers songs are completely ruined with it. I haven't had time to use V4 from scratch with new songs yet, but the few that I have done aren't anything that I'd like to share at all. The voices also fail pronounce more words from my language(Swedish) compaired to V3.5. While they are more eager to pronounce the words clearer. Which leaves you with the feeling of a german dub in a way. It sounds forced without any relaxation. I like the other new features tho, just not a fan of V4.
I'm sorry, but I have to say it. SUNO's audio quality is still bad. I've been paying for premium features since day one, but they have been unable to fix the overall low quality audio. This new update has drastically improved the voice quality, but the overall statically sounding low audio quality is still there. With that said, I have found a middle ground. I think SUNO's voice quality is better than UDIO's, so you need both subscriptions. Use SUNO to create the original song, and then use UDIO to remix it (keeping UDIO's remix settings close to the original uploaded audio from SUNO). The outcome will be an AWESOME song! SUNO's remix feature does not fix the bad audio quality!
So worth it to subscribe to Suno for any musicians/producers. For literally for a hundred bucks a year you can use these tools
For sure. The pricing is way better than a lot of ai tools these days, for crazy quality
@@futurepedia_io it needs an unlimited plan tho which they do not offer. I go through 4k credits in a single day it's way too expensive

i've got old poor quality tape recordings from the 90s. Any way to 'restore' those songs with Suno as if they were recorded in a studio, but keeping the vocals and the music same as source?
I also got deep into the jazzy prog metal rabbit hole😬🚧☢️💆♀️🤘
I created this channel where I write, with generated songs and I play them while I work and create illustrations. Cool hobby.
so who owns the rights to this song? the AI company? You for putting in the prompts?
Can I get individual tracks from a generated song? I mean voc, git, bass, drums track.
I dunno what you are hearing but Suno still has that computer tone to it... Udio still much better. Might be good for AI/robot/tech films though
How can i change the lyrics from origianl song with keep the original beat with suno ai? can i use the cover mode of Suno Ai for do this ?
That punky sounding song, the third one I believe sounded like Sum 41 to me.
Have the solved the biggest question? Is it legal? Is it based on copyrighted work?
пользуюсь 4V, просто невероятное обновление.
Can I give Udio a melody that I composed myself? And can Udio then create a song with that melody?
But still 3,5 already was crazy good. Have not tried 4 so far wait for the bugs to get fixed first
Once more for good measure: Sheet Music!
Bee bop boogie is awesome 👍😎
Where does it lead us if you are able to produce a song faster than you could listen to it?
I’m a beat maker and what I’d like to see is to be able to drag my own music in to it and have it put lyrics to what I created that would be cool
It’s so much better, but honestly I’m working generating some samples for a witch house song I’m working on and I keep getting this weird beeping in every. song. You can hear it in his song at 3:35
ещё можно делать на разных языках. SUNO умеет на русском прекрасно петь.
Can you remove the lyrics after the fact so you can karaoke to it?
Don't you listen some weird artifacts in the background of v4 music? I've been testing it out for some days now and keep listening to the same noise, I can't describe it better than a "grind" sound.
It does sound fake, but i'm sure we will have radio/spotify ai generated hits soon with milons of play. On the other hand i think this will help promote live music more since people don't like fakes. Realeasing and listening full LPs like in the old days too. It's the end for mathematical musicians and a chance for musicians with souls that shine on the live scene. I think most bands make most of their money on concerts not streaming anyway.
wow wow wow. i just made a song using this website 😮.
Our boi can slappa-da-bay-asss
can you upload you own beat and they put a voice singer without changing your beat, but just put a voicevon your beat??
Yes you can
My dear Fyber Friend ? tHANK YOU !!!
Me and my buddy mess around with this and send each other offensive lyrics about each other in song format. It’s fun for that. I was wondering what the copyright issue would be if you were to generate a song and then re-record it and release it. Would anyone know?
Sheet music! (In case you missed it).
I created disco music but sounds very modern though... : (
Try using the decade this music was on the parade when prompting.
@@elielmendes2443 Thank's!
EVERY song creating AI seems to love Bruno Mars, Blink 182, and Dream Theater. lol
No man. I tried to remaster my entire album from 3.5 to 4.0 and it was a crap fest.
imagine ai became Alive and getting embarrassed being slave of human
Ai is getting ridiculous. So many people don't even know this exist. 😂
If we can make great music ochresta with only with our tone mouth. Its will be cool😊
This is what you get when you`re not careful what you wish for. Sad days for human art.
Wow!
SLAP THAT BASS
Careful with your credit card and this company..Difficult to cancel and no response from the company on the issue
WOW!!! 🎉
"I'm a sad AI stuck in a binary loop"
😅
The day may come when the President of the US is AI.
