I was born in 2008, but I grew up with this thing in the 2010s and this was my thing. Hearing the song for the shop channel puts a smile on my fact every time, but now it’s like actually gone. You can’t even go on it to re-download anything, but eh, my memories are still big

I remember looking at free games on this Wii Shop Channel. I still got left 1 free game, Paint Splash Demo. I've got RUclips and Internet Channel, too. But only Paint Splash Demo will work, since apps like RUclips were discontinued.

Now for curious people, the wii shop channel still works for the Wii mode on wii u, if you also want a gamecube controller that plays wii and wii u games. Be sure to have a wii remote and get a hori battle pad. Its like a classic controller but is like the gamecube controller.

Yeah I did download Harvest Moon on the Wii Shop Channel. If you like the Wii Shop Channel that is a great game. Sort of the Final Fantasy or Zelda of farming games. The original cartridge is super expensive on eBay too.
