    Get The Glidebait here - bit.ly/philsta...
    Had a glidey day down at high rock a little over a month ago. While I was reviewing these catches I realized how each catch is unique in it's own way. Whether that's the cadence the bait was being fished, cover, or depth - I thought there was some value in here and that it could help somebody learning to fish these glides with me. Hope you guys enjoyed this short and sweet vid, I wish you all happy holidays and I'll see you next week! Shout out to fish everything for making my favorite glides.

    Livescope has made me alot more comfortable tossing these bigger and much more expensive baits into things I would have shied away from in the past. I used to only keep them near the surface where I knew they were safe...now I let them sink down right over the brush piles. Definitely has made the bait more versatile for me.

    Vic make some dope ass baits that catch fish . Also they’re at a good price for the quality and garage built baits .

      Thanks dude!
      I know what you're saying, and you absolutely make a point. I've been thinking about it more this year than ever and I came to this conclusion - I'm very fortunate to do this full time, and I get to fish literally whenever I want. Dream come true. Bites change on a regular basis, and there are many times I can't even go out and repeat what I was doing in a video. That being said, if I CAN help someone else catch fish by sharing something I've learned, that's more rewarding to me than gatekeeping things that could potentially catch me a couple more fish if I were to keep it to myself. The people I respect most, who are absolute hammers, will literally tell you EXACTLY how they caught them, general areas, and will continue to win derbies weekend after weekend. I hope to be that good one day.

      Yep, you noticed : ) !!! Always has! What he's throwing, what on, the modification if any, conditions (even water temp), and retrieval, depth & structure, sometimes even with timing. LOL -- even with weather forecast (series, that was a good time!). So much info to be had .... you'll not find on other channels btw -- if you don't learn or pick-up a tip, then yer not paying attention. Always helpful and promoting fishing; you'll find that in every video/vlog........ and so good, even when it's not-so-good (luck). : ) Be Safe

Why would I doubt!?! : ) Matt (and Ace), thanks for another great year ... it's been absolutely awesome; so much fun to watch and interact. Totally Enjoyable -- and here's a toast to the coming year!!! : ) Wishin' ya both (and fams) all the bestest, Happy Holidays and a VERY Merry CHRISTmas!!! Be Safe

    Curious...would you ever fish a glide bait without using Livescope?
    That 3rd bite was awesome by the way...when you go to set the hook and it feels like a friggin' log you know you done hooked one of the big ones...

      All the time. Especially shallow cover/if I’m fishing the bait up high where I can see it with my eyes.
      It is most definitely less scary fishing them deep through trees and brushpiles w scope though as far as losing them goes.

    Hey Matt it’s Rooster from the lake what kind of cull tags do you use. Clips or ones that go through the gill. Im finally liking my Ranger after getting everything on it.

      Glad to hear it! I like the non puncturing cull tags.
      I use the cal coast 2.0 clips. acmtackle.com/collections/fish-care/products/cal-coast-fishing-clip-n-cull-2-0-culling-system

    Sup dawgie. A little late on this comment but I'm wondering which Kistler rod you're throwing the FE and Nessie on. It's got an orange and black styling to it. Thanks

    What is the best fish everything glide that you can fish deep? I have a pw but I’m not sure I can get enough weight on it or if it will swim right!

    • @SBFishing
      @SBFishing  8 месяцев назад +1

      pw will work! Just use heavier gauged hooks, wrap the hooks with wire, or use tungsten putty if you need.
