Bill Lee (Spike Lee's father) on the bass.
How does Hooker still manage to look cool in a suit five sizes too big for him?
Cuz is mf og
Love It! Is their a CD of this show?
The best quality copy of the five song set is on the 1994 Charly box set "The Boogie Man" but its very hard to find. They reissued it in 1997 on a CD called "Rare Hooker" but that is even harder to find!
Your best bet if you want to hear the whole thing is to get the very cheap 3-CD set "Trilogy" of which one disc is a clone of "Rare Hooker" :)
Trying to figure out what guitar he used here
Late 1950s epiphone coronado.

The guy Neil Young stole his "one note" trick from.
