You can also make one from an old point style lawnmower magneto , condenser , and an old fashion door bell buzzer . I have a post called ( Coil PowerPoint ) how it works . I've run my farm pump on it and there's no difference in the way it runs .

Ran across this video this morning while having my coffee. Was thinking about you just the other day. I haven't seen you since Lonnie was having his shows in Brinkley. Glad to see you're still at it!

So the relay uses low voltage (electro magnet)to control a high voltage circuit that’s all I know about that. Thanks for the video friend. It’s good to see your show.

Who is the supplier of the plastic tank? Great idea.

Well, I heard a fella that works on them guitar amplifiers that told that it does make a difference whichaway it goes around and he set out to show why. The way he showed it, on the input stage of an amplifier it does make a difference in how much noise that amp will pick up, had to do with which one of the two plates that make up the guts of a capacitor was on the outside and would catch any noise so you wanna make sure and put that leg of the capacitor on the side going to ground to get rid of the noise instead of adding it to the signal from your guitar. He also showed that there is no reliable indication on ceramic caps to tell you which way is which cause most of the time it dont make no difference. You have to test them to find out.
For what youre tryin to do here it wont make any difference to how long the contacts in your relay will last but it could make a little bit of difference how much noise you are broadcasting. I doubt that's anything to worry about either unless you are outside running the engine and your lady is inside listening to am radio or she has the shield pulled off her guitar amp foolin with it.
But if you want to test it out, just outta curiosity, you can get yourself an am radio and tune it to where there aint a station, just that frying background noise, then run your ignition and see if you can hear it on the radio. Then turn your capacitor-resistor round backerds and see if that is louder or quieter on the radio, whichever way is quieter is the way you want it. I woulndt bother with it myself, but if you are particular about things you might want to. If you are gonna bother with that, get yourself a spark plug wire that is a resistor wire, that will make a lot more difference to how much electrical noise your ignition makes than fooling around with the capacitor will.

The resistor should come off the 87, 87a pin. You wouldn't put it on pin 30 supply input.
