@Matt Allcock LVL 3 irata, but not working wind turbines, I'm working in a petrochemical plant.. not as cool, but pay is alright, and I've got plenty of free time.
Tie off that tool bag as soon as you get on top of the turbine mate!! I get that its most likely not going anywhere but one little slip up and its gone!! Great video though
Wow, what a fascinating and professional video you've shared! The way you provide services on wind turbines using rope access techniques is truly impressive. It's clear you're a pro at this - definitely the best in👍👍👍👍👍👍
@@johnnyk.4152 im currently doing my electrical tech in college, i have connections with people in the turbine industry and apparently as soon as i finish, find a company and they send you to courses ect
@Matt Allcock im also afraid of heights but its amazing how much better you feel when you're secured by something and know its safe. i refuse to use a 50ft ladder but i can hang from a rope. Id also like to get into this at some point in my life
@@VerticalVentures it's a dangerous job. do not underestimate the danger. especially if you connect the anti-fall with a one meter long fixed rope to the ventral attachment. if the work rope breaks, and the fall arrester reaches a fall factor of 1 or 2, you break your back. I think you need to use an absorber.
Geez, my palms are sweating while watching this. Great composure and that view of all the turbines is amazing.
Yours palms?! My balls are retreating into my abdomen!
Dream work! Just finished my GWO, about to start irata, then blade repair and off I go :) can't wait

Nice one. Would love to join you and make another video
Once you reach the bottom how do you get all the ropes and carabiniers back without having to climb the tower again ?
You go up inside the turbine again and lift all your ropes back up
how doesnt this have more views??
Must be some kind of Super Hero 👌
Thanks for the video
I use all the same gear but for a different job. How do I get involved in wind turbine work? What training is needed and what company is this for??

how can you not feel afraid to be at that height, interesting and good luck👍
I'm guessing the person recording this video is a Level 1
Trying to get a job repair and painting the wind farm. How hard is it to get the certificate.
Wow very interesting job 😎
Thats what i want to do when finish my enginearing
Omg 😲 you are incredible
How do you over come the fear of heights?
You don’t
Is this good pay

Imagine dropping the bag oof
Hiii I am an IRATA level 1 technician I would like to work in your company is there any vacant
What's the salary like
Don't worry we got a lot more wind turbines to work on after this one lol
Не понял для чего спускались. Какие работы выполнили? Или это для видео спуск?
Для покраски Ветрика 👍🏻
How do you get on with the red? Nice video
What was the alpine in your working line for?
BriPix Ahh ok I see!
How work like you mate ?
Привет, подскажи, что за музыка у тебя играет в видео?
Been doing basket work for 2 years. I keep begging my boss to send me to rope access training 😭
I need 100hr to do that job
I want this worke:) so cool
No case on the phone? Wreckless
If the phone fell there wouldn’t possibly be a way he’ll find it😂
Where was this video taken ?
BriPix which company do you work for ? Are you specialized in blade repair ?
Wow this is amazing,I’m currently in the blade repair business but onshore in a factory,Any advice for me getting into this line of work ?
IRATA
I cleaned a ceiling fan once without a safety harness - would that be considered experience?
Are trailing safties not allowed... Just seems like allot of unnecessary effort for descending?
The last farm I was on required an ASAP lock. Managing a backup like that would be a ball ache.
You must have never dropped your phone before. 😅
Hi brother. А что делали ? Осмотр на наличие коррозии?
А ты где работаешь?
@@jinnomagarino1767 , я работаю на новостройках, швы и покраска. Реже монтаж какой нибудь.

What propels you to do that?
Lucifur lol. Oh fresh air and money. That's why I'm on ropes
How to join with you
The music is annoying, but with sound off nice video
It would actually take up a notch to hear the ambient sounds and not the music.
Mute button goes hard
Where do I sign up?
The sign up list is at the top of the first wind turbine...
Só faltou estar preso em dois pontos. E outra a sacola de equipamento deveria estar presa tbmm
