Tie off that tool bag as soon as you get on top of the turbine mate!! I get that its most likely not going anywhere but one little slip up and its gone!! Great video though

@Matt Allcock LVL 3 irata, but not working wind turbines, I'm working in a petrochemical plant.. not as cool, but pay is alright, and I've got plenty of free time.
@Matt Allcock im also afraid of heights but its amazing how much better you feel when you're secured by something and know its safe. i refuse to use a 50ft ladder but i can hang from a rope. Id also like to get into this at some point in my life
@@VerticalVentures it's a dangerous job. do not underestimate the danger. especially if you connect the anti-fall with a one meter long fixed rope to the ventral attachment. if the work rope breaks, and the fall arrester reaches a fall factor of 1 or 2, you break your back. I think you need to use an absorber.

Geez, my palms are sweating while watching this. Great composure and that view of all the turbines is amazing.
Yours palms?! My balls are retreating into my abdomen!
I use all the same gear but for a different job. How do I get involved in wind turbine work? What training is needed and what company is this for??

Awesome job man! What a beautiful day out on the ropes👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Once you reach the bottom how do you get all the ropes and carabiniers back without having to climb the tower again ?
You go up inside the turbine again and lift all your ropes back up

It would actually take up a notch to hear the ambient sounds and not the music.

Nice one. Would love to join you and make another video
Bro, talk about trusting your equipment!

Are trailing safties not allowed... Just seems like allot of unnecessary effort for descending?
The last farm I was on required an ASAP lock. Managing a backup like that would be a ball ache.
