You don't necessarily have to play on the hard level. I usually play on rookie random and they pop up in no time.

You don’t need 15 to take the portal. You just need to win 3 in a row of the same game type.
what game type?
@ example: 3 triple threats or clutch times in a row. Or playing a team from the 80s three times in a row opens portals

are the chances of me getting better awards on the board the same if I play on higher difficulty like hof unlike rookie?
The rewards don’t seem any better with higher difficulty. They do some better going through certain portals though. Like the eras and special portal.

Is there a guaranteed chance for a portal because I play on rookie and never get pirtals
Play every game and the special portal is guaranteed

Win 3 of the same games like 3 clutch time or 3 1990s games in a row portal will open play every game special portal will open
