Explanation of the stopping effect in the beginning
ストップのエフェクトのためにギタースイッチのRhythmのボリュームを0にセットして、Trebbleのボリュームをフルにセットしてください
この状態でギタースイッチは真ん中の位置になると、音が出てないです！ギタースイッチはTrebbleの位置になると、音が出てます！
For the stopping effect you have to turn down the rhythm volume of your guitar to 0, while your trebble volume is at full volume. For the effect you have to switch between middle position and trebble to kill the sound.

because I believe Toru plays the Lead guitar pretty similarly but the rhythm guitar, which I find very cool in this song, is missing out in the live version. I hope that's ok! But it will take some time until I play it 😂✌
Hi Hady, what a great cover! I have a question about the pedal effect. I understand about the stopping effect, I have no issues with that.
Could you kindly explain what pedal effect you are using for that intro? Is that a detune /octave effect pedal? at 0:16 and 0:23.
I have GE300 and trying to replicate that same sound, however I can't find anything that works. Doesn't seem to be a normal Wah pedal. Much appreciated!

So the pedal used for this is a Whammy DT by Digitech. Toru uses the Whammy 5, but the Whammy 4 also can do the same effect. Those Pedals are Detuning Pedals, which will further detune while pressed down! It was set to Dive Bomb mode, which can be replicated the most by having an increased detune to 2 octaves below, but won't get close to it I think. Tbh I don't know if there is a pedal which is able to do the same effect in a way like the Digitech Pedals 🤔

I think Mighty long fall is one of my all-time favorite songs by 1OR. To me, it's one of the songs that best represents the style of the group! My favorite performance is Nagisaen's. Honestly, your cover is exceptional, especially the effect at the very beginning. I even think it's better than the concert. Truly incredible! I hope to learn it soon. Well said!! To be honest, this song really had to grow on me, but I got to love it so much through the live version!! I always keep the live performances in my heart where taka wanted us as a crowd to do a wall of death 😭 good memories!

I also learned to love it over time. Another amazing version is the concert with an orchestra. It's incredible to be able to combine such a hard rock style with a symphonic orchestra. The result is truly incredible! 😝🤩💣🎸

Nice coveer Hady, this song has something in particular, when i hear it on the album, i dont like at all, before I saw one video of them in live on a great stadium, this song in live is fking awsome before that I was tryin to learn it, the only "problem" was it for my guitars i dont have, coils that have a individual volume (as yours) or a kill switch.

To be honest, it was the same for me in the beginning!😂 At that time it was a totally different sound OOR made and it felt kind of "overproduced" but through the love version I got to love this song!!
Ahh I see the problem! I think a way of playing it then is to play these notes by their own and trying to stop them in between 🤔
