Hello ladies! Yeatserday I heard Julie from Diary of a Yarn Snob mention you and how fast your podcast has gained attention, so I had to check you out. I'm happy to say that i've spent my lazy Sunday afternoon watching all three of your episodes, as I knit. Well done fellow yarnies! I love the patterns you both show off in your WIPs and FOs,as well as the yarns you use. One thing i've noticed you do that not a lot of other podcasters do is you show off past FOs. That is fantastic! We all have so many beautiful things we've made, that we enjoy showing off, who says it has to be new? Fantastic! Keep it up my new friends :-)
You girls know I'm just obsessed with your pod cast. Change nothing and I love a long pod cast because I can do my knitting, my eBay, or my crafting right along with you girls. Love you guys.
Oh my!! Love your podcast. I've only been knitting for a little over a year maybe. I started by teaching myself to crochet, then I heard someone say that people who crochet have trouble knitting and vice versa. So I taught myself to knit and love it so much more!! I've only watched 3 episodes (trying to get caught up) and already have a small notepad full of patterns, yarns, and ideas along with a bunch of items in my library and on my wish list on Ravelry. I am a bit jealous because I don't live near any really great yarn shops (just big box stores). P.S. I'm watching your podcast at work so you aren't the only ones who do that. HaHaHa!!
I can’t even...those hand-dyed yarns!!! So beautiful-the blueberry socks and the other hanks too. Oh my, I hope I’ve saved enough for retirement.....I want a Mrs. Brown’s Bags but the shop door is locked...
I don't know if anyone else has recommended it to you but Jeny's surprisingly stretchy bind off is the best!!! You do need to have a good amount for bind off but it is truly the best. Thanks for sharing yourselves and am enjoying watching you guys.
You guys are so cute! I love hearing about all of your projects. You give knitting (and crochet) so much enthusiasm that you inspire the rest of us to keep going. Yay!
I love watching you two already!! I'm new to knitting podcasts, and am watching about 5 or 6 right now. They all talk about you so much that I had to find out what all the love and hype was about! It's so amazing to see that you started only a year and a half ago, and now you're one of the most recognizable, biggest podcasts around! Congrats on so much success, and thanks for being such a joy to watch!! :D
Love your podcast, especially the SNORT at the end Jodi!! :) If you all ever come to Portland, OR, let me know!!! Keep up the awesome knitting and being so down to earth!
Your podcast is so much fun. The relationship between you two is fabulous. I'm so glad I found you from the first.. Keep it up you're a ray of sunshine to all of us.
Thank you for encouraging me to come out of the closet. I've been knitting since I was in high school (self-taught!) and for all those years, I have had a terrible secret. After watching your podcasts, not only did I discover that I am not the only one with this "problem", but it even has a name: WIP. I no longer have to hide all my WIPs. I no longer have to only knit one project until finished in public while knitting other projects in secret. It's okay to admit that I am working on multiple projects at once, some of them for years. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Love you guys, you are too cute. So jelly of all your beautiful yarns. I'm really too broke for the last couple years to buy any yarns other than Knitpicks. Binge watching your podcast.... You're the best!
OMG!! I just love you lovely Ladies, I was in a knitting slump and you Ladies have motivated me to knit mittens and socks. I'm watching and trying to catch up. Keep up the GREAT work.
wow, the children saying "YAY!" were so loud it scared me and I spilled coffee on my shirt lol I'm awake now. I am really enjoying your podcast so far. You both have such wonderful personalities. I feel so jealous that I don't live close to my sister.
Love your podcast! Love all the sock yarn you share. I have been knitting socks for about 2 years and I always do mine two at a time on different needles like you talked about. Love to do it that way. Then no 2nd sock syndrome.
Love the show, I really like that you highlight who you are talking about on the side of your podcast. makes me pause your recording to check out who you are talking about. makes my day when i see you have posted your new podcast. bummer that i didn't win! but lucky Patti! i'm happy for her.
love the video.I'm new to sock knitting and have started a toe up and cuff down to see what I like better both on circular needles and I got that book at a library book sale for a dollar ...what a buy. your socks are lovely ,just want to get that good .keep the videos coming .
I thoroughly enjoy your podcast. You are so funny and I love your interactions. I wish I could convince my sister to knit, so we can have that much fun.
I enjoy your podcast so much, you are both so sweet, and all the information you share is wonderful. I have to keep a little note pad close by to jot it down.
I always knit my socks two at a time that way...didn't know I was so connected...lol...of course I am only up to sport weight, #3 needles. I learned from Very Pink Knits with chunky sleep or around the house socks, worsted weight. Then my granddaughters requested knee socks. I knit those out of medium weight #6 needles......they are both super tall.....I knit and knit and knit! Sooooooooo long! So now I am really loving sport weight. Next up.....sock weight #2 needles. Perfect way to learn to knit socks!
Fabulous podcast.. wish I had a sister like either of you.. found Ozzie's (think I have the name right..) antics on the bed behind your shoulder pretty funny, but not distracting! You go girls!! ;-)
I love the mittens they look so warm, You both are really funny and delightful to listen too. I like listening to you both and hearing about the teas that you like. I like to drink tea but Davids Tea is not any were around me, Do they have decaf? Keep up the great work.
I am knitting my FIRST pair of socks right now on Chiaogoo US 1(2.25mm) SS Red Circular. I know, super tiny. It's like knitting with toothpicks. My hands were sore on the first two days and now I am used to them and I love these needles!
Instruction manuals - I used to get teased at work because I read all of the manuals and all of the books for the software we used. Guess who everyone always came to for help though. When I left that job they couldn't replace me at my salary because of everything I could do - all self-taught. It took them more than a year to find someone, and I have no idea what they gave up to get someone who would take that salary.
You guys are so cute, love you so much already!!I also knit and crochet and was wondering if Jodi would show some crochet items sometimes too, I know that I would enjoy seeing those as well as the knit items :)
Hi girls... new sub found you recently. I actually love the way you “digress” it’s just like my friends and I are chatting, greeting and squishy hugs from U.K. 🇬🇧💖🇨🇦😍🤗
Love watching your podcast! Do you or can you list the yarns and patterns in your notes ? You have been so great at sharing and showing and I stop and start so much to look at yarns and patterns. Keep up the good work.
I'm assuming someone else has mentioned this but just in case: the Nomadic Yarns name "Ovaries before brovaries" is actually a quote from the Parks and Recreation character Leslie Knope (played by Amy Poehler). Anyway, love your podcast and sitting and knitting with you both!
I think you both would love 10,000 Stitches podcast. A die only knits socks....in every pattern you can imagine! She is a physics instructor at a university in Virginia.....really interesting take on knitting. I love it!
Don't sweat the progressive lenses I went with those and never had a problem I think the ones who have problems with it are the ones who go from bifocals to it you will love them💕
Hey ladies, I found your podcasts recently and have been catching up. I'm really enjoying your stories and your knitting journeys but am having a problem hearing you. The sound on other podcasts I watch is really clear but so far, your voices are sometimes muffled. I have the speakers turned up to 100% but still can't hear you clearly in some segments. Is this something to do with the editing? Does it get better in later episodes? Look forward to hearing/seeing more :D
Your podcast is great - I knit at night and watch an episode. Just one little suggestion - please look at your audience. You always look as though you are both looking off to one side or the other and not at your audience. OK - back to watching h=the end of #3. Thanks to Susan B. Anderson for turning her viewers onto The Grocery Girls.
You talk about "project markers"??? I've knit for decades; I teach knitting and I have never heard of project markers. Stitch markers - absolutely, but not project markers. Please explain. :)
I really like you guys, but, could you please look at the camera when you are talking to all of us? Not trying to be mean, I just want to see you looking at me, or all of us watching your podcast!

How many rows do you knit on your shawls. I have started one three days ago and am wondering what size to make.

Hi, just decided to start watching you all over. 😊
Tracie, is your husband still watching every episode?
Hey ladies, I found your podcasts recently and have been catching up. I'm really enjoying your stories and your knitting journeys but am having a problem hearing you. Can you put down all the things that you mention on the podcast? Please
Look up Helical Stripes for removing that jog. It works beautifully. But you may already know it as I'm watching this in 2018.
oh i have to say it , i am in love with you guys .
You talk about "project markers"??? I've knit for decades; I teach knitting and I have never heard of project markers. Stitch markers - absolutely, but not project markers. Please explain. :)
What is your dog doing?
I really like you guys, but, could you please look at the camera when you are talking to all of us?
Not trying to be mean, I just want to see you looking at me, or all of us watching your podcast!
Thank you for mentioning that. I thought I was the only one who was annoyed by that.
Love you guys!
