Welcome back to the KIRSTY MEAKIN SHOW! I’m doing my little sister’s nails so we’re doing long square neon nails to which are definitely making a comeback.
I've also got a story in here which is a word of warning to young girls, about the kind of scams that are happening on the internet and what you should be looking for. It happened to my little sister Lily, give her a follow on Insta too - / lilymeakinx
We’re starting by prepping the nails with my new e-file from Luraco which I LOVE!!!!😍😍 I’m using the Glitterama system today and tips rather than forms because I have lovely long tips from nailed by Lucie. The ombre is going to start with green and then yellow, orange, pink, and finish with purple for the best flow. I’m also going to use the Nailchemy paints and gel polish for some cool line art. Of course, I’m using Blue Streak crystals for the bling✨!

Are the colours your using colour acrylic or are they just a pigment without anything added?

I wish you could have taught me how to do nails and draw on them. I've learned how to lay acrylic 😅but in a timely manner I still can't lay the perfect application nd im not sure why

Soooo pretty!!! My 10 yr old daughter was watching with me during the social media disaster. I’m constantly telling her to be careful in the internet and when she heard your stories she legit looked at me and said “oh. It really does happen. And to anyone!” So THANK YOU for being such a strong woman and showing these kids the light! You definitely saved some lives that day.

Can confirm I used 80 grit sandpaper today and used an 80 grit nail file to get into the cracks… it’s too harsh for nails!
