mm i don't know there's a list that i want to hear like: i don't wanna know, understatement, hit or miss, it's all downhill from here, head on colission... either way the acoustics sessions are awesome so i'll take whatever you upload jajaj.
I love all NFG music. But when they fo acoustic songs you can really hear Jordan’s voice I loveeeeeee it! 😅😅😅 There music never gets bad only better with age Cyrus best pop punk drummer 🥁 ever, Jordan best snotty nasal bratty nasal beautiful voice ever in pop punk!! 🎧 🎸 🎤 💛💛💛💛💛💛 NFG forever!
My grandpa was an incredible man and an inspiration to so many of us. He passed away on August 26, 2011. I had been a NFG fan since high school so I knew the background of the song “Sonny”. I was tasked with creating his memorial slideshow. The full day that I worked on it I cried so many tears listening to “Sonny” on repeat. Tonight, on the eve of the 9th anniversary of his passing, I cry tears of joy. Just thinking the release of the acoustic version is some random sign of his presence. A sign that he still watches over me always. Epa Grampito. Gracias a Dios.
I just lost my uncle and grandmother just this in 2021 always reminded me of my grandfather my grandmother's husband something hello every time I hear the song reminds me of everyone out that I have lost over the years makes me smile and makes me cry it makes me hope for the to the Future my niece and nephew our family members who have passed on to
It's honestly one of like three albums ever released that I can call flawless with a straight face. I wouldn't change a thing on it, down to the mixing and mastering. It's perfect.
@@timothysnave So many good bands on that label back in the day! But seriously @New Found Glory please for the love of all things good and holy re-release the entire Stick and Stones as a completely acoustic album, same song order. We need it, its been a rough year.
Oh god, the tears jerk just as hard. Lost my father unexpectedly in 2019, and was devastating. My mom got a golden retriever pup like 6 months later, and i immediately thought of this song, because he had wanted to name him Sonny, so thats what she did.
When my best friend died in 2002, I didn’t know how to express my feelings and emotions. Then I heard this song for the first time 6 months later and ever since, it alway makes me think of her. Tears of joy and sadness every time it gets played.
funny story about this album. i would play the cd every morning while my mom took me to school(back in 2002). by mid semester she was singing along with me.
For many of us who were in HS around early 2000's and lost a friend... And/or many other life situations in the coming years ...This song is therapy. ❤🫶
In January of 2020, my uncle passed away after a hell of a fight against cancer. Our home life wasn't great and he was there for us when all the adults we should have been able to trust weren’t acting right. I don't think that I stopped listening to the Sticks and Stones version of this song until the Summer had started. Thank you for this version. 😊
My aunt passed away three years ago, I miss her every day and every night, she was like my mother when she left us, she took a piece of my heart with her I hope that she is in the place that she deserves. I miss her so much 😔😔😪
A friend bought me Sticks and Stones back in 2002 or so. Totally random. I’d never even heard of the band. We were both stationed in Italy with the Air Force at the time. Probably 20 years old. Maybe 19. I can’t count how many times I’ve listened to this album through. And here I am still listening all these years later.
The lyrics can be sad, but if you listen to it enough you can actually gain positive perspective. It's always about trying to find good from a bad situation. Learning from past mistakes and applying it to future situations.
when i die , boulders. those songs were with me at the lowest of times and helped in ways i cant imagine. they would give me tears of joy to hear acoustic
Re-release, remake, new, old... it doesn't matter. Please, keep making music. Quality of life is better with your melodies in it! Can't wait to see you guys again live!
Such a sad day my aunt passed away today nothing like some NFG to get me through this tough day. Thanks for all the awesome music you have made over the years 🤘
you guys nailed that. I've been listening to this since it came out, and the thing is.. I always will. This is a forever album. I'm here listening to this song because I just found out my high school girlfriend passed away, and we used to listen to this album.
Anything!! Saw yall at The Republik during your last Sticks and Stones tour! Ive always wanted to see yall ever since i was 13. Fast forward at 27yo and my dreams came true. Love this band. Yall have been there for some great and not so great moments and even helped my best friend during a hard time. Keep making music and keep making people smile. Love and blessings from Oahu 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
I was 14 when i heard this album for the first time. I convinced my dad to buy me a distortion pedal so i could play along. At the music store he wanted me to show him why I needed it. I can't even remember what song I started but it was definitely from this album. 16 years later, I still play guitar, but became focused on drums. I'm 30. AndI love New Found Glory.
I remember sitting in the back of the car on our way to Florida listening to this entire CD. This song has stuck with me for years and the first note always takes me back to that moment. Thanks for the memories guys.
YES! Invited fir sonny and now it's here. One of my favorites from sticks and stones and underrated cuz everybody wants "understatement" a good song but "sonny"gets left out alot ☹ glad I saw the 10th anniversary show of stick and stones and they played the whole album(just like I like it 😎👍😊) plus more...love NFG! 👏🤘🔥❤
Same here lost my mom in 2004 & last year lost my twin brother. It's sad. The other day my family & I took a charter bus to the Astros game in Houston on the way back home played this song. I almost busted out crying
These would be awesome to be released as an acoustic album. Honestly, you could use one of those RUclips to MP3 websites and create your own for personal consumption.
Hi there, I've been a huge fan since 2001. I got into you guys a few months after I found out I had an eye condition which I lost my vision to back in 2008. This song is one I turn to when I had something bad happen, heck even listenEd to it if I couldn't see you guys perform but did at Vans Warped Tour in 2007 and back in 2021 in Orlando. Yesterday I found out my my mom died yesterday due to the vid and while singing along with the original I cried and even cried while listening to this version. You've been a big music inspiration in my life and glad I've been a fan for this long.
This song always makes me cry. I remember listening to it after my brother died and it just felt so perfect for the pain i felt. Love and miss you bro. Thanks guys.
This has always been one of my favorites. Can we expect a CD of all these performances, once we're out the other end of all this? I'd pay real money for it.

It's a dang rad song that's for sure!
It’ll be awesome I know that!

Dressed to kill Yeah!!! Greetings from Peru
Jordan has done a great job protecting his voice over the years.
Thats so true he still keeps that younger sound
his voice sounds better and better like wine
Definitely even live sounds like butter
The vocals are mastered
I love all NFG music. But when they fo acoustic songs you can really hear Jordan’s voice I loveeeeeee it! 😅😅😅 There music never gets bad only better with age Cyrus best pop punk drummer 🥁 ever, Jordan best snotty nasal bratty nasal beautiful voice ever in pop punk!! 🎧 🎸 🎤 💛💛💛💛💛💛 NFG forever!

Fingers crossed for Head On Collision, but literally anything will make me happy because that album is flawless.
It's honestly one of like three albums ever released that I can call flawless with a straight face. I wouldn't change a thing on it, down to the mixing and mastering. It's perfect.
Yessss. Head on collision. There was a drive thru records sampler way back in the day that had a version but I would love to hear a new one
@@noahsdad86 I remember that! That's where I first heard Finch!

We need a NFG acoustic album of the greatest hits. Love this.
New acoustic album Jan 28th. 8 new songs & 8 classics!

New found glory getting older, is getting stronger.

This is so good but you must hear “Winding Road” or “A Place Called Here” by SLT 🤘🎶🎧
My aunt passed away three years ago, I miss her every day and every night, she was like my mother when she left us, she took a piece of my heart with her I hope that she is in the place that she deserves.

Selfless, Hit or Miss, Understatment or At Least I’m Known For Something please!! Love the acoustic covers and NFG!!!
The story so far
The lyrics can be sad, but if you listen to it enough you can actually gain positive perspective. It's always about trying to find good from a bad situation. Learning from past mistakes and applying it to future situations.
😢 five star song from a five star band. ❤
The sticks and stones album is probably my favorite album. Great job. Can’t wait to hear more
The self titled well always be my favorite but I can see sticks & stones being just as good
Sticks and stones will always be my favorite
god damn this is beautiful
when i die , boulders. those songs were with me at the lowest of times and helped in ways i cant imagine. they would give me tears of joy to hear acoustic
I heard Boulders at their 20 year tour and it was one of the best times seeing them. I've waiting so long for them to play it live.
Ooh boulders. That would be great.
Re-release, remake, new, old... it doesn't matter. Please, keep making music. Quality of life is better with your melodies in it! Can't wait to see you guys again live!
Jordan still have a perfect voice even 20 years after
Vocals are mastered almost auto tune
Waits patiently for the inevitable acoustic EP that should be coming from these
Ok I guess. But why not just add these to a RUclips playlist. Same thing ha
Such a sad day my aunt passed away today nothing like some NFG to get me through this tough day. Thanks for all the awesome music you have made over the years 🤘
I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it so hard but you're gonna be okay soon 😊
Thanks 🤘
Seriously one of my fav NFG songs - especially acoustic!
This is so good but you must hear “Winding Road” or “A Place Called Here” by SLT 🤘🎶🎧
I KNEW it was gonna be Sonny!! Love it!!
“What song should we play next?” YOUR ENTIRE CATALOGUE. Not one of us will complain.
they have so many damn greats
I wish I could just have them in a tiny box in my room to open and perform their songs for me when life sucks. Pint size glory lol
I lost my sister last May unexpectedly. We shared a love for NFG and this song just breaks and soothes my heart.
I lost my father last year.. much respect and much love ❤️

Big respect fellas. you guys have been absolutely solid since day 1... although your music has stayed true, i'd still pick my friends over you.
god i love this song 😊
One of my favorite songs from NFG
R.i.P. Rodrigo († 2015), my dear uncle. This is our song.
This song still brings up so much emotion. When I saw it on tour I almost cried
Sonny, among the top 10 songs, ever.
I would say these guys have been a top ten favorite since my sophomore year of HS back in 2003

When that second guitar comes in at the beginning 🤘😆🤟
The lyrical content hits me right in the feels as I’m departing from a 16 year relationship/14 year marriage
Loooove this song, I remember you guys when you played in Japan, it’s my very good memory!
I love when they actually add the harmony from the studio version to their live songs. Way to go Chad!! I absolutely love this.
