Thanks for watching, Tim. Btw, way back you had mentioned the 1973 live at Alice Tully release. Just received it after making my video. Fantastic recording and performance of a great era. Cheers.

That wasn't me, never heard of that recording 😊
But I love Rock n Roll Animal.
Only know 4 of his solo records. Maybe I will investigate some more

Great feature on Lou. I’ve been very hesitant to check out that new bio after the Anthony DeCurtis one from a few years back almost ruined him for me. The hatred he had for label heads and people trying to help him and intentionally putting out bad work really annoyed me. But I have been listening to him quite a bit in the last year or so. I’m surprised you didn’t mention New York. I’m kind of with you on Berlin. Used to have no problem playing it. Started to listen to it on a Sunday morning recently and didn’t last more than a minute or two. My faves are Transformer, New Sensations, New York, and Magic and Loss. And Set The Twilight Reeling to some extent, as it was the tour I saw him on. Excellent show…but those looks he shot at his band mates…damn.
Like that tribute album as well as the I’ll Be Your Mirror VU one.

Cheers and thank you for your comments. It’s funny with New York. I really like the record, and I purchased the expanded box, but just haven’t been inclined to put it on when I’m in the mood for Lou. Maybe I overplayed it in the day, though this would be doubly true for Transformer and it’s still a fave. I have delayed reading the DeCurtis bio as I heard it was a pretty nasty portrayal, though deserved it may be. If you are looking for a more balanced perspective, check out King of New York.
      All the best!
