Not at all, shamu3838. CMC lifts have some of the best weight distribution for driving over soft or delicate terrain. The PSI depends on the model, of course, but it is very low. You can drive right over relatively dry grass without doing damage by driving it the right way.
Hello Tony, it depends on the size of your trees. If you need the height, the 105 is a fantastic lift. And if 83 is enough for you, the more compact dimensions and lighter weight can be an advantage.
I would say just go with the 105 if your gonna be dealling with tall white pines, oaks, ashes, that are rite next too a dwelling.. etc.. an you need too rigg' or chunk' small stuff.. at 83ft your pretty good, but ive ran into big bull pines we had to end up sending tops, because limbs were just bit too hi' and didnt trust tree roo rigg off itself. Or climb. An crane could get near.. though with 83ft.. youll do just about anything in northeast.. except for that 2,3x trees a month that just are, well..not impossible, but bit taller and underestimated maybe untill your on the job, & up there lol..

Do you feel 83ft. Is plenty sufficient reach or the 105 ft. Model would be a better more versatile choice?
