When you read comments of supposed greatest guitarists in the world you should direct them to a video like this...or Baden Powell playing Around Midnight, or Juanjo Domínguez playing La Cumparsita, or Luis Salinas playing anything...this is an amazing video of a truly great guitarist playing a ridiculously difficult piece on a whim faster than the record. Few can hope to achieve this level but it's fortunate that some do and we can witness the beauty. The sadness is that he can longer play these pieces but he leaves us with so many great moments, they all do.

Creo q Paco, Gerardo, Vicente , Niño Miguel y Sabicas son las maximas fuentes de inspiracion para cualquier guitarrista flamenco. Con relacion a Gerardo mi primera conexion y deslumbramiento fue oir "Queda la sal", algo que me dejo extraordinariamente sorprendido. Espero en algun momento poder concurrir a alguna de sus clinicas de guitarra tal como lo hice en 1992 con Manolo Sanlucar en Jerez. Carlos Ulla. Santa Fe. Argentina.

que mas se la puede pedir a un guitarista(compositor)lo tiene todo,armonia,technica,potencia,dulçura,control total de la velocidad en todo momento y le mete unos zarpasos que dan escalofrios y la melodia es preciosa,es como ver una pelicula,espctacular,con una pieça como esta te has hecho immortal,mi admiracion eterna.

This tempo is not in Nunez's album because it is faster than it can be played, so Nunez is faster than himself. Thus, it is not enough to say that Nunez is fast; the opposite is true - being fast is a property of Nunez.
