Now that was the BEST Peter Doig video I’ve seen, and I just watched all of them. This guy really encapsulated everything about Doig’s work succinctly while showing the work at an interesting angle to see the textures. Also, not the same four paintings over and over, which starts to get monotonous no matter how good they are.

It’s wonderful to see how they’re built up in areas allowed to hold their own in the thinner passages.
