    Thanks for the idea! I didnt know what the clips were, but after seeing this, I took two tiny flay heads, bent the ends out a bit, and stuck something thick in the middle to make something similar with what i had.

    This video bailed me out of a really bad situation at 8:30 pm on a Sunday night after all of the tool stores were closed. 5 minutes to form the tool and i got the snap ring out, fixed the broken part and snapped the ring back in.Thank you!!!

      @@GreatTips01 Right back at ya. I broke the scissors when I ground them down. But I had a pair of needle nose pliers and modified them and that did the trick. Now they are a multi tool! Lol. Thank you again for the helpful video. Subbed and liked

      I was wondering if scissor steel would be strong enough, so I used an extra pair of electrician wire sheer to make the new tool. It seems to hold up to some of my bigger snap rings, like on my 1/2 drive ratchet. I'm thankful to all of the info in these comments.

    Spend 30 minutes (not earning £20 bonus) making a tool that will last a week - or buy the correct tool for £7 and use it for the next 5 years.
    Tough call
    lol

    No circling Pilar, yaa…
    But you need a pair of scissors and a grinder worth rs. 5K

      @rauladame2105 11 месяцев назад

      My grinder won't work because it has no refined corners, the have been rounded. I think you are right though, what if there is no power tools to help? I'm going to try to reshape the tool with a hand file.

      What I’ve done in the past, I get two nails or two drill-bits(round end nit the drill) and pop them in the holes, as long as there is snug fit, you don’t want them wobbling, put pliers between both nails and open them have a flathead to hand once you’ve got it open, it’s how I get my angle grinder off as well, instead, I just use it screwdriver, leaver ect as it like t bar, just gotta be careful that you don’t slip off, the other thing I have a little tiny pair of pliers that fit between the holes and you can just push them apart

    gitting circlip off was easy for my ignition key lock, but getting it back on without destroying it is my question?

      Hey, I get what you mean about that key ring! It can be a bit tricky to put back on without damaging it. Just take your time and you'll get the hang of it.
