You really used this song to dig into my favourite part of their dynamic - the way that everything in Akechis life led to him seeing these horrendous actions as the only thing he wanted to do, but Akiren lingered in his head in a way that his original understanding of the world and himself shouldn't have allowed for. And it fucks with his head, that's outright shown to us in the game, but when fans want to do more with them than the game shows we have all this mess to dig into and it's GLORIOUS The, well, mind fuck of thinking hes dead and then being proven wrong, the hate actually being regret, the certainty that he's doing what he wants to do falling apart as the worst parts he was ignoring become more obvious with the difference of his time living that particular lie as Akirens friend puts it all into a new perspective and the way he has no fucking clue how to handle any of this because its his whole world being shaken up. And it's pretty much entirely down to one person. God I love it when the psychotic aspect of Akechi aren't ignored and are instead explored further by fan content, its such a wild ride
