I'm watching this in the safety of my home with electricity provided by coal. Thank you to the men who risk so much to make this possible. Respect.

Being an ex miner from the uk this was so true. Being taken inbye to the working face or outbye coming to shaft bottom on these was the normal working routine. Great memory jogger. Thanks Amacf

Yes we had tens of miles like that, ours were battery powered though not diesel and we were over 1000m down. In ours the big pipes in the roof on the left were methane extraction and compressed air, the small cables were communications and signalling, the big cables would be high voltage power supply and the pipe on the ground for water.

Thank you Brandon for the awesome ride and video. I bet the ceiling is under 5' high. My respect to all miners.

Looks a lot like Marshall County coal mine way outby. I work there

Marshall County coal mine didn’t start rib pinning until 2004. The outby area of the mine were mined way before 2004, so this cannot be Marshall County Mine. Also, there is no 6 belt at Marshall County (McElroy). I have worked for 15 years at that mine and know it quite well.

This is a West Virginia Mine. Possibly Marshall County? It's been a while and I can't quite remember.
