What a killer find Richard. I believe that your friend was there with you on that day , one year Anniversary of his passing for you to have had remembrance of him at that instant. That was unbelievably powerful for me to see I truly felt your pain and gratitude. I've never seen a more intense video my friend.
I got a little choked up just hearing your emotion. Thank you for sharing such an amazing experience with all of us. Seriously one of the coolest videos I've seen. As a fellow hunter, the feeling of finding a single artifact can be overwhelming. I can't imagine finding a cache like that, the personal meaning for you made an already awesome find just that much more special. Thanks again.
Out of this world, Richard. Don't know what else to say. You brought a tear to my eye, there at the end, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Happy Fathers Day friend
I was shaking with you, heart pounding!! The Lord truly blessed you that day!!!! WOW!!! All mine are drought, creek, field finds, so to watch a man dig something that spectacular up!! I get excited and holler when I find whole ones, but 3 huge perfect very old.. words dont do it do they? keep it up!!
I was really touched by the connection you felt and shared, as you thanked your passed friends spirit for help with finding this rare and sacred find...I can imagine your excitement, as I spent many hours hunting for arrowheads in Texas where I grew up...long time ago...but never had your luck! Awesome man! I just stumbled on your video, (I'll check out your others soon), but wondered if you had dug around this cache for other artifacts...I'm sure you must have wondered, like me...why an early Native American hunter or craftsman would have left or lost in this pile of high quality points of seemingly superior workmanship...When I hunted, I would find only one at a time and would easily assume that it had been lost by a hunter from a missed shot...A cache like this just makes you wonder a lot more....you know?
Wonderful, Brought back many memories . I did a lot of digging in a cave in Kentucky on weekends. I was in the 101 Airborne Div.and met two professors from the university of Ohio who taught us a lot. this was in 1956 -57. It was a great off duty time.
wow! Hell of a day Richard. It's a darn shame Kim and Rudy weren't there to share all that fun with you. 3 perfect points. Almost looks like they may have been a small washout there and they gathered up against that rock. ... or it was a favorite spot of some crafty Indian. Congratulations! Can't wait to see those cleand up!
ABSOLUTELY UNREAL.... No words to describe it.... I would have a loss of breath if I ever found ONE point like those 3.... By FAR best Video on RUclips! EPIC!
LOL.... That is freaking awesome Richard way to go. I can't believe you didn't get excited at all and stayed so calm.. Happy Fathers Day buddy, you are the man.. Great Job...
RICHARD .YOU DESERVE THIS GREAT FATHERS DAY GIFT .THANKS FOR SHARING THIS EXPERIANCE WITH ALL OF US. STILL THE LARGE CASCHE YOU HAVENT FOUND YET RICHARD ,AND YOU WILL FIND IT .
That’s one of the most beautiful Cache’s I’ve ever seen Rich ! That’s definitely your dear friend Glen shining some love at you !! I’ve learned so much from watching your videos and posts I would like to give you one of my shirts I made because you’ve taught me a lot. Thanks for sharing that I can tell that was a special day for you. Thanks.
I'm unfamiliar with the word you use for the large one .I assume it's a knife blade , something I've never found!!! I have some that were given to me ,which I appreciate, but FINDING one would really make my day !! Happy hunting!!😊😊😊
Richard, Thats probably your friends way to tell you that he is still around, and will be with you! How awesome it is that you found these today! I was going to tell you Happy Fathers Day, but somehow.. I don't think thats needed anymore :) Congrats buddy! With all your Karma bags you have sent out you deserve this most out of anybody on here! Klintworth
Hi Richard....congrats on an OUTSTANDING find. I envy you. Have you ever considered having some carbon dating on the cucumber? What a great find. Wonder if anyone else ever came up with a Etley under two awesome Sedalia's. Thanks for taking us on one fantastic dig.
looks very similar to what i find in eastrn OK...close by, have found cache too... same way, odd they'd be in same place like that, but they are sometimes. The clear quartz crystal arrow head I found was in a cache like that. many knives and spearheads, but the clovis era is what blows my mind. Check out Spiro Mounds State Park for amazing ancient archaeological finds. Many things found from FL area, Gulf Coast, and up to Great Lakes region! ...and farther...
It's always fantastic to see this video. One of my favoritesthe points, and the emotions. Super cool video. Just like those points Friends are Treasures. (Indy)
ive learned throughout the years you only have just a few really good true friendships and that they shoud be treasured, and believe me when i say you and k are my friends i mean true special friends. your friend forever richard
Happy Fathers Day Richard with an awsome cache and a special moment to share with your friend Glenn...My 4 year old daughter keeps telling me that my Dad, who passed away in 2008, is not dead cause he drops in to see us every now and then. Always remember those special moments that made you laugh and smile, for they will last a lifetime! HH, Erle from VA.
Absolutely amazing!!! But PLEASE do me a favor and trade that screw driver for a stick. Looked like you were sword fighting. I was on the edge of my seat praying u didn't whack one
What an awesome fathers day ! That is three super points you got there .You have got one heck of a site ther at the Cucumber . We do not have Sedalias or Etlys down here in the south . Really Awesome .
Hey Richard! I am still drifting back through the past to get caught up with your finding... if I can! Witness for sure! Better than a still life in the Smithsonian!
Sweet man, nice find has any one found any waumpum be for they melt it into beads, i have a big pieces of some, i haven't ever heard of any one else finding any.?
What period are they, anyone know? Are the two unnoticed the same period as the one notched? I have several I found in Ky. and Illinois many years, ago! Suspect one may( hope, hope) be Clovis. Anyone from SC? Need to have them checked!! Any info would be appreciated!!l the tom.
Amazing! I hope you realize just how amazing that you dug in the exact spot of a cache when you could have dug somewhere with nothing wich I'm sure you've done before but wow, I'm happy for you because I would be happy for life if I had found that cash Richard
Congrats, pal. You deserve it. And your buddy Glen is smiling down on you, you know it. Father's Day can be great for points. I found my best Dalton on Father's Day about six years ago. Of course, you never know. Got skunked today, hahaha, but your video sure made up for it.
Wow Richard, I'm sure that will be a day that you will never forget. Was Glen one of the people in your Beagle Cache video? Those are SUPERB points, and your emotions really let us viewers know how special of a find that they were for you.
Ten plus years watching you... Still rad to see these. I have a few from you. They grace my frames. Thanks Richard!
