Great list! I especially got a kick out of hearing about the kids' books. I read most of 'em when I was growing up and hadn't thought about some of them for a while. 😁 I liked The Lost World except that Crichton brought a certain character back from the dead, but I guess he could claim that was another Arthur Conan Doyle reference. Thanks for the video, and have a good one!
@@BryanM.R.-prionic1 I enjoy a lot of children books today because I didn't take the time to read them as a kid. I spent my time on video games and TV and missed out on a lot of great books. Thank God that I discovered Roald Dahl as an adult. He really got me into reading a lot more books. I love a lot of his stories. Plus a lot of these children books are just as fun to an adult as they are to children if you are new to the story. I really enjoyed the books in the land of Oz as well. I really enjoyed the Jurassic Park books as much as the movies. They are great books. I love the way the books are quite different than the movies. It is a different experience of the same thing and I got a kick out of that. Thank you for watching and your comments. It is great to have you here!
@@DisquietandDragons I have three books in that series and I only have read the Hunger Games. I did really enjoy that book. It is an interesting dystopian world setting. I have Red Rising and I plan on getting into that soon. Thank you for watching and your comments. It is great to have you here!
I think you had a good reading year from this list. I reread Sorcerer's Stone this year, and it still holds that magic for me. Might reread Chamber of Secrets next year. Gonna focus more on a TBR next year. Try to buckle down.
@@someothercharacter It is hard to get to all the good books on your shelf. Time gets in the way and it takes quite of bit time for each book. Life has a way of getting in the way. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is a great book. I really love that one. A lot of people agree because that is one of the best selling book series of all time. @@aronkorol2985 The Lost World is a great story with dinosaurs. I love it as much as the movie maybe even more. Thank you for watching and your comments. It is great to have you here!
@@ALatteThoughts That is cool. I really enjoyed the Hunger Games and I plan on reading more books in that series. A prequel to that could be good. I have seen commercials for the prequel movie but I haven't had a chance to see it. It is nice to know that it is a story written by Susan Collin. She is a good writer. I enjoyed her imagination. Thank you for watching and your comments. It is great to have you here!

I've got The Hunger Games but haven't read them yet. You should try Red Rising, I think you'd enjoy it.

The movies water the story down. I don't hate them but the books are better
