I don't know why but I've been hearing this concert 4-5 times a day during the past week. I like it. It's a very well made pastiche, with a lot of recognisble tunes.

This is such a clever arrangement of well known themes from films,in the style of a piano concerto.....Peter Hope has worked with John Williams,James Horner, and many top operatic singers..I don`t where to place this in the music genre, hints of Rachmaninov, but Hope`s own style...I have known his Kerry Suite for a long time..but he is a prolific composer, so why is he so neglected?..pleased to see Y-Tube uploads of his music..do we know who the orchestra and conductor is on this recording?..Peter Hope is not American as this concerto would suggest, but he was born in Stockport,Cheshire, which makes me particularly proud, as I am also Stockport, born and bred, and we both grew up in adjoining areas of the town, albeit it 23 yrs apart....thanks for the upload..long overdue.
