Great Lady and her efforts in those years .I know my Nana Nani they are from Lahore before partition My Nana too was Railway employee 😊my mother who was eldest her younger sister and a brother too came to India for their higher studies.My Mom and my Massi did MBBS from Mulana Medical College &Mamu Jaan did Electrical Engineering from Delhi University . After partition my Nani was the First Lady to join the Delhi Police service.People used to be more civilized...That shows in their generation too . 🙏

One most important thing about Begum liaquat ali khan is... She was a Christian. Her name was Sheila Irene Pant' . In 1930 she converted to Islam hence changing her name from 'Sheila Irene Pant' to Ra,naa (Gul-i-Rana).
She belonged to my city ALMORA (UTTARAKHAND), INDIA....and as an Indian,I will always regret abt this fact...May be, in Pakistan She is celebrated as a heroine but as far as her Home city in India is concerned, we see her as a Villain ...She along with her husband and Jinnah were mainly responsible for The partition of India 😡😡😡
I am from Devbhoomi Uttarakhand India & unfortunately this lady took birth on this holy land. Her grandfather was a Brahmin Hindu but shamelessly converted to Christanity. Never did anything for her original religion or for her country India. Inke dada, maa aur baap k liye mai yahi kahunga :- "युद्ध नहीं जिनके जीवन में, वो भी बड़े अभागे होंगे या तो प्रण को तोड़ा होगा, या फिर रण से भागे होंगे।" Laanat hai aisi zindagi pe jo apne desh k batware ki wajah bana aur laakhon logon ki maut hui.
