The better question is how much would your life change if you lost the $2000? It is not realistic to plan to make anywhere near $100 a day as it causes you to invent trades that may not be there that day because you are trying to reach your goal.
We've all been in your position before, and I can tell you-focusing on daily profits will only hurt you in the long run. Instead, take the time to understand which markets to trade and why. For example, forex might seem appealing with its low capital requirements, but the high leverage can wipe out your account fast if you’re not careful. The real key is capital preservation and solid risk management. This means aligning your stop loss, position size, and risk tolerance. My best advice? Find a mentor who can guide you, maybe even trade on your behalf while you learn the ropes.

What about running much larger risk to rewards. I generally risk $5 sometimes up to $15, i see itmove favourable inmysirection sometimes up to over 50 RR but can't seem to take profit as I'm steugling a little to find the reversal. Its gotten better as i slowly move my SL down but that can sometimes cause it to trigger pre maturley
