We Were Promised Jetpacks formed in Edinburgh, in 2003. The band played their first gig at their school's 'battle of the bands' competition, which they won. The four-piece eventually relocated to Glasgow. In October 2010 the band toured in North America to open for Jimmy Eat World. In July 2011, the band announced their second full-length album, In the Pit of the Stomach and released the track "Act on Impulse". The album was released on October 4, 2011.
I listened to this song while I was flying across the Atlantic to visit Rome many many years ago. I always think about that trip with my dad when I hear this.
how does this not have 1.000.000 views? amazing band
So underrated....and so wonderful
I'll probably never get to see them live so thank you Moshcam.
Finishing PhD this semester. This band's music has helped me so much. Would love to see them live
That was awesome. The Tastemaker knows what he's doing.
I saw them recently in Rotterdam. Great band! In earlier days there was a band called The Sound with singer Adrian Borland. We Were Promised Jetpacks is the new Sound for me. Hope they go on and on and on.
I love this song
Still and always listening to WWPJ ❤

Sounds like The Gaslight Anthem
sounds like blink 182?
Swing and a miss
If you have to ask then probably not lmao. This defs has a more UK indie sound than US pop punk :)
No... I like both but this sounds so much different
