Extending this series further is like extending a strong spring, you have to double the effort to keep it good, or else it snaps out of hand. Extending the story would have made it worse in my opinion.
@@pauljackson2126 Agreed. Want to end the show on a good/positive note & not string it along grasping straws to see if it'll work or not. I think they did an amazing & terrific job from start to finish. I just kinda wished that they went a little further with the ending.

One of the best series i ever watch but i must say Last ship script writer showed up all rivals county like China , UK , Columbia in bad character besides one message also come out from this series in bad time we have to suffer on its own either county or county people not gonna help anyone. Seriously at the start of season 5 when Kara was suppose to be the Captain(CO) of the ship.....I felt the script had too little dialog for her to portrait her as the CO of the ship thus still giving the audience the thinking that Chandler was still the CO of the ship in command......I still think that Salattery shd be made CO instead of kara being the Captain

Exactly. I think it was just the actresses that just made it a big deal in these videos, for the most part. But in some instances there was some mild, woke feminist agenda, for example Lt. Ravit (season 2) held a very arrogant, prideful feminist attitude that really spoiled her character. As well as some embarrassing showcases of her poor military tactics like how she held an AR. (With the butt four inches in front of her shoulder) However not nearly as embarrassing as Kandi Azima in season 4, who was seen multiple times firing a fully automatic rifle with the butt of the gun a few inches in front of her face, literally. Therefore, I was not nearly as impressed with the performance of the female main characters compared to the male characters. Female actresses tend to like to portray their characters as the most badass, wicked, and sexy person they can. And in doing so they stray from the dirty work and practicality of what war really is. And I find it really unrealistic. Take Wolf Taylor for instance, portrayed by Bren Foster, a real life world champion martial artist who devoted his entire life to his fighting skills, earning black belts in more than twenty genres of martial arts. Bren choreographed his fight scenes in this show along with his friend Ron Balaki, with the intention of creating realistic war scenarios and making his experience from years in the ring to come thru accurately in a such fighting situations. He was able to showcase so much talent and indescribable skill in the most humble way. These female actresses don’t hold half of that skill, yet are being applauded by so many for being “badass”. If they want equality, let them rise to the standards, not lower them to their reach.
