Thanks for watching. One of the biggest problems I have with Tabs is it's written as that person may play it on the bass. Most times, it just does not make sense.
I know, every time I look at a tab for a song I already know, I'm like, NFW! Plus I hate the way they're written with low notes bottom / high notes top. it's the opposite of the fretboard, and I always transcribe onto my own sheets so that the tab looks like I'm looking at the guitar or bass neck in a mirror. But that's just me. Yes, I know that normal sheet music is written bottom to top too.

Great job man! Our band is doing this song as we do many other great instrumentals. This helps me get it fast. Gosh it was a pain in the nuts to learn songs the old way before technology such as this hahaha
Have you ever thought about or have you done the full length version to this song? I would like to see and hear you play the long or full length version of this song by the Ventures please. Also how about the new Hawaii five-0 theme that is done a little faster than this original. You could do the long and short versions of the new theme. Nice performance. Sounds spot on. I have done Rush covers but I have to tell you that I'm no Geddy Lee. I love their music and Geddy's playing. YYZ is one of those songs I also have not been able to nail. I've been trying since 1981 and to this date, I'm challenged in different sections of the song.
Dude you are great! And lucky that you're in the side of RUclips that aren't hurtful idiots calling you "fat", even though they probably are too. But this is great!
Thanks Joe. I have grown a thicker skin over the past few years from RUclips. I have always been a big boy. Funny thing is no one has ever called me fat directly to my face. I'm not a fighter, tough guy, in fact I'm pretty quite. Standing 6'4" weighing over 450 lbs, it's safe to say I would laugh it off if ever it was to happen. On RUclips, I just block those idiots from my channel. Not even worth the time of day. I play my bass hoping I can help another players learn a song. Cheers and thanks again for the kind words.
