데식 콘서트나 실제로 만나지 못하는 시간이 늘어가면서, 살짝 힘들기도 했어요 오빠가 데이식스와 마이데이는 단순한 가수와 팬 사이를 넘어 뭔가 끈끈히 연결돼있다는 얘기를 한 적이 있었지만 가끔은 다른 세상 사람 같기도 하고 멀어보인 적도 있었는데..
이 노래를 오빠 통해서 처음 알게 됐어요 근 몇년간 노래로 울었던 게 기억이 나질 않는데, 이 노래 듣는 내내 정말 오랜만에 맘껏 펑펑 울었어요 소중한 사람들이 떠올라서요

Wonpil and his voice just pierces through your heart and stays there even after you've been utterly brought to tears. These are the projects these men are giving while DAY6 is on hiatus. From Young K to Jae to Wonpil and even Dowoon's drum updates. It's already incredible. They've grown so much as artists. Imagine what they'll deliver when they make their next comeback as a full band. I can't wait.

Not gonna lie, the past three days I've been watching this before sleep, and always end up sobbing really hard. This song is about someone whom you can no longer meet that comes to your dream and puts you to sleep for one last time. Every time I listen to it, it always reminds me of my late mom. I imagine her coming to my dreams to put me to sleep for one last time but... The moment I woke up, I didn't remember that dream:')
I love the original song sung by IU but this cover really hits differently... His voice sounds so sorrowful and heart-breaking. It somehow also reminds me of Wonpil's late grandma and how he always cries whenever he thinks of her:') I'm writing this while crying hard btw.

Wonpil's voice is one of the most unique voice I know.
In every Day6 song, I recognized his voice first than other members.

@@MD-rp6jd I respect your opinions but just on some things;
1. The YBC thing is not simply because Young K wanted it so they approved, but because suddenly YT is a trend in Korea now and everyone is doing YT, so StuJ obviously are now convinced and finally saw it's potential, and didn't have problem to support it. While back then, it was still a foreign content in Korea and Jae was one of pioneers so they didn't saw it's potential.
2. Young K did Vlive frequently because he has always been with his manager. For VLive, you should know by now that the basic rule is that they needed to have at least one staff around, and as you can see, Dowoon, Wonpil and YoungK only use vlive on staff/manager's phone and only use it when staff/manager is around. It was only recently for Sungjin that the staff encouraged him to interact with fans so they gave him, the first and only member, the vlive username and password so he can open vlive whenever he wants, but he have to inform staff at least one hour before. As we all like to assume things that goes behind, we can also assume that since Jae already active on Twitter, IG, Twitch, and YT, StuJ only gave the password to leader SJ to encourage him to interact more. But Jae now already have the password, so case closed. And now the members that have the password are only Sungjin and Jae.
3. Young K and Wonpil's contents are on official acc is simply because they don't have their personal accounts. It's just a simple fact but fans really like to overthink.
4. And about personal projects, you can notice that the other members always ask help of company's staff/affiliates like their bandmaster and his crew(for mixing) or the videographer/photographer that always work with them. You may argue that Jae only works with his team because it would be hard for him to ask StuJ. But he has been with his crew since before and there are also many things bts that we will never know such as conflict of interests, company policies, and how are each member's approach of things or who they approached.
5. I personally think only Jae has some unresolved issues with StuJ, and he may have been traumatized by past events that he rather works on his own without the agency's help/permission now. As a fan, I support whatever he decides for himself. But we also have to be rational and see things as a whole before throwing hands around.
And let's not overthink shall we. Seo Gwanghoon have always helped filmed Day6 contents. Wonpil probably just asked his help to film his covers and the videographer chose the place/cinematography and all, just like how he chose the places to film for Young One covers(as Young K said in vlive). And from his vlives, he implies that he asked helped from Gwanghoon himself to film them. So we never know if Jae ever asked Gwanghoon to film his eaJ videos.
I'm just sad that just because Jae has issues with the label, other members get dragged into this by fans. Other members also work very very hard for Day6 and saying that they seem to get permission really easy is first of all, an assumption, and second, undermining all their efforts that they chose not to disclose or share with us as frequent.
Can't we just enjoy any contents from whichever member without overthinking things🥺 I guess Day6 really are getting big seeing that now these kind of issues are being raised.. Back then, like in 2017, Jae had the most gigs out of them all but there were never complain from fans because we love them equally and we know each of them do what they do for Day6 and Mydays.. So let's just appreciate each member's hardwork and whatever goes on behind the scene, they can handle it, they are adults, they are big enough, we don't have to overthink for them..

I love the fact that Wonpil doesn't afraid to sing female singer's songs. Meanwhile most of male singers like to sing male singer's songs because their vocal range and voice color are almost the same.
IU, Taeyeon, Kwon Jinah are good singers, have high vocal range, and their songs are usually using not that easy vocal technique. But Wonpil did it very well and succeeded delivering his emotion to the listeners. He's also smart choosing songs that suit with his voice the most.
Wonpil's vocal improved a lot. I wish he keep exploring his vocal by doing song cover or collab with other musicians. Proud of you!♡

@@oindrila8329 right now, i struggle a lot with overthinking my problems, my relationships, my future, but also the things i studied that day, my brain just keeps on "revising" stuff.
What helps me best is to listen to these "lullaby" songs, exercise for at least ten minutes, a warm shower, a cup of tea. But obviously I dont do all of these things every day. What also helped me was to turn my bed into the zone where I am not allowed to think. Sometimes it works, sometime it doesn't. Lastly, I take a huge breath until my chest hurts thinking of all the troubling things that would keep me awake if I let them, and when I exhale I "let go" of them. After that if i keep on breathing slowly and deeply, sometimes i fall asleep. Unfortunately lately this has become a very huge problem of mine and I basically only sleep well if I haven't slept for three days if you know what I mean. I dont sleep on three nights, but on the fourth night I sleep like a baby. Like this.

i asked because a friend of mine can't sleep at night due to anxiety and i can't figure out a way to help her but thanks a lot i can use your advice in a positive way.
these thoughts are mostly knownas intrusive thoughts that barely hold any meaning but are repititive in nature and keeps you up and some thoughts actually have a meaning to it.
you're really brave and i hope you gather the courage to face all your fears and failures in life and embrace all your sides.
i know, one's advice is usually of no work or whatsoever when one's anxious but if you need to talk,i can be here for you if you give me your twt handle.
im hope wonpil actually makes an album with ballads so that it helps you sleep better at night :(

our brains are trained to stimulus and response and it views our beds as the stimulus to over think.
if it's of any help i think you should take some time off during the day and think of all your worries and write them down, sorting them out one by one though those worries will still come back at night as our brains are trained that way.
there's a high probability that your "repititive thoughts" or you "revising" your thoughts can be a sign of obsessive compulsive disorder but again i'm no professional so i can't come to any conclusion.
what i personally do is link my anxious thoughts to stimuluses that i like :
suppose my brain is thinking about a thought that i don't want to think butbit still doesn't stop i will link it to my favorite song and replace that song with a song so instead of the same thought i will think of that song or one more thing is listening to easy math formulas while going off to sleep or else you just have to fake it till you make it for as miserable as that sounds.
i wish i knew the content if your thoughts to understand you better :/
try to hug someone and sleep because often touch plays a major role in one's relaxation of the mind.
maybe you've tried out several other things but keep trying because it's more of a process and one day you'll get there!
