Looks like a delicious loaf of bread, but my very favorite part of the entire video was watching adorable Chloe observe you so closely as you prepared the bread dough! She will remember more than you might realize as she gets older and makes bread for her own family some future day. Continue to make fond memories with your children. It's apparent that Joas loves your cooking!
Totally agree Chloe like her mum is having these passed down to her. You can see it in he way she observes and so loves her mommy and Priscilla loves her. I love how they speak German with the children. " Was Chloe?" It is so precious and marvellous.
Priscilla, The bread looks amazing. I would like to try your recipe as my bread always comes out heavy and not airy. I love seeing your daughters and how close they are to you. Little Chloe is so happy to be with you and what is so funny is that she is unaware at how much she is actually learning from you. Also, I think this is one of your best videos. You seem more relaxed and confident. I love Montana Haven!❤️
I’m a recent subscriber and I have to say you’re already such an inspiration to me as a mother. I would love to hear some advice on how you stay on top of everything. You always look put together, you cook wonderful foods, your marriage seems to be a happy partnership and your kids are on another level. And the most impressive thing is that you seem calm and warm through it all. I know we shouldn’t compare ourselves to others but I also believe in learning from those who have it down.
I won't answer for her, I hope she replies to you. But I see Jesus in this family... That calm, that peace... "Great peace have they which love THY law, and nothing shall offend them." It's not from her husband, not from her beautiful house, those are just added blessings from our God. We all have bad days, sad days and angry days. They are part of the journey, and when we ask our God for help, we can walk, sometimes crawl, sob, and scream, right on thru them to a better day. For some reason your comment touched me, a fellow mom, who definitely does not "have it down". I hope you have a wonderful day and that you find that same calm and peace that our Jesus is extending out to all of us. I love you.
I so agree with everything you just wrote. I wish I was their neighbor to enjoy this amazing family. Their children are so precious and so well behaved. I love the homesteading videos they share with us and can't wait until they pop back on. I do believe their faith leads them in this wonderful direction of family unit. You can see the love between them just in the way their eyes all look at each other. It is a most beautiful family. We are lucky to have found a channel that is this wholesome. (and beautiful Priscilla looks like Celine Dion) The old fashion way of life they have I am so jealous of. Love them.
Dear Amy, thank you for your sweet and beautiful comment! I want you to know I don’t nearly always feel put together. Sometimes we just have leftovers for dinner. Sometimes I feel like I am not a good mom or a good wife! But I believe as women we are often way too hard on ourselves then we should be! One thing that helps me is knowing that I have to give myself lots of grace to mess up sometimes and to be able to forgive myself and get up and go on. And most of all staying in peace knowing that God loves me no matter what. We are not perfect but we are excepted and loved by a good God!
@@MontanaHaven Thank you so very much for those words. Having a strong relationship with God seems to shape people in the most wonderful ways. It’s time I open my own heart and make an effort. Thank you again.
Beautiful! And wasn’t Chloe great with the suggestion of saying “slice”? Thank you for that helpful hint with the parchment paper! No longer will I battle with it again 😜
AMEN, God is good, I'm glad to hear that God was with your family and help you all to get better, i also had it last year on the month of April but when i went to the hospital all they did was send me home and told me to rest, i did some home remedies and was on a green juice fast for a week and ate mostly plant base diet and after 2 weeks i was much better and was not tired or having breathing issues or headaches, so God made our body to heal.itself and we need to take care of it But God took care of my family because i was the only one that got it, i just kept to myself, thank you so much for sharing Have a blessed day🙏❤ I'm watching from Greensburg, Pa
Priscilla you are building the most loving and caring memories for your daughters and I love seeing their enormous attention to everything you are doing while you are talking and explaining to the camera. Thank you for sharing the warmth from your home and family.
I love this recipe. We’ve made it several times over the past few months and your calm instructions in the video put me and my children in a peaceful mood. Thank you!
We were watching a couple of cooking shows on RUclips (Jane Esselstyn and her mother, Ann, on their channel AND Jill on The Whole Food Plant Based Cooking Show) and saw them use your wonderful trick crumbling the parchment paper to make it easier to use. They might have learned from watching you! That has been so helpful for me and my sister! Thank you for sharing ❤️
Priscilla, I made this bread today and it turned out lovely! I have recently been watching your videos at the recommendation of my friend, Rick Barkman. We discuss them endlessly when we get together on the phone or in person. They are so inspiring and we love them! Thank you!
Your little girl is adorable...I watched her while you were working the dough...taking everything in...she will be making bread soon! You are an inspiration.
This bread looks amazing! Thank you for showing your viewers how to make it. I always love your cooking and baking segments. God Bless you and your family.
I, too, absolutely love to bake and breads are my favorite. So had to make your bread recipe and it was delicious! Have made several additional loaves and take them to my older neighbors along with homemade applesauce. It’s a hit! Love to watch your little helper and the girls were so cute at the dinner table, intently watching Joas slice the bread. Another wonderful meal ♥️
Thank you so much for this recipe I am making this bread now all the time. I have a question where do you buy the spelt? I found some online from a Amish store by 25 pounds. AMISH ORGANIC SPELT BERRY 25 LB is this different/better than what you would buy at a chain grocery store? Thank you again and just wanted to add that my daughter (8) loves your kids and keeps telling me that she thinks they would be good friends if we lived close by and wants to go meet them 🥰☺️
Wow, that looks incredibly yummy Priscilla!!! So nice to see Chloe & Avalon helping you and learning homemaking skills!!! Sending Christian love and prayers to you & your awesome family!!!! 🥰❤️🙏🏻
What a joy to watch! As a confirmed bread-lover, you and your family have made the easiest bread an art! Thank you and I will be making this too. God Bless you all
Wow! That looks so delicious! I could almost smell it when you took it out of the oven! There’s nothing like the smell of fresh baked bread! Can’t wait to try your recipe 😋. Thank you for sharing it with us! God Bless! 😊
Priscilla, you are absolutely amazing......such talent.....to watch you cook is such a delight. Thank you for sharing all these recipes with us. LOL I have had something similar at a very fancy restaurant with the balsamic vinegar and oil and Joas is correct, it looks absolutely delicious and I can tell it indeed is! Thank you for sharing all of this. Blessings and thank you for all you do!
Chloe is so smart and a delight, watching mommy when scrunching the parchment then going off when shes gets it. So cute. I have your bread dough on 3rd rise now. I love you sister in our Lord Jesus Christ.
I really like seeing your “little cute helper” (Chloe) in the background!👍🥰 Priscilla, you are soooo talented! I am learning & gaining new ideas from all your vlogs with Joas & children.👍😍Keep vlogging & sharing...!!!😘 GOD BLESS.🙏
Chloe sure is leading a lot just by watching her mom. I must try that bread. I could almost smell it. Thankful I don't need a bread mixer for it. Have to make another pumpkin pie first since hubby is needing one. It does make the house smell of Thanksgiving. ❤
