Not buying it they get up every 20-30 min. While drinking and dinner to walk all the way down into the apt. They are so full of it! That's why they were all acting shady when questioned.

Yeah that seemed bogus. I’m not a mom but I worked childcare and I didn’t feel comfortable taking my eyes off the kids for more than a couple of minutes. Plus the neighbor blew a hole in that story that she heard Maddie cry for hours. I doubt they were actually going to check on her. Maybe that’s why they’re so defensive? They know they were bad parents or at least this trip made bad decisions and don’t want to admit it.

Some people just care more about hanging out with friends and get pissed rather than hire a responsible nanny to look after the kids. Extreme child neglect and endangerment and anyone who thinks leaving their kids in an unlocked apartment whether it be the length of your garden or not, you are basically killing your own kids! It’s sick and those people shouldn’t be able to be parents. I really hope Maddie is ok and is found soon. If it’s come to her being killed, I say. R.I.P Maddie :( it’s sick that you have such selfish sick parents.

Freud himself was a sexual pervert, and you can look at the pattern in that particular family.
Sigmund Freud, father of psychology and tampering with minds.
His nephew was Edward Bernays, who was the father of PR/propaganda, who specialized in getting people to act counter to their own self-interests (specifically women).
His nephew is Marc Randolph, father of streaming entertainment, founder and first CEO of Netflix.
When you put together the individual pieces, the puzzle becomes more clear, and the answer emerge to questions like "why would Netflix make something like 'Cuties' and defend it endlessly while it's costing them tons of subscribers".
Because it's not about "entertainment"; it's behavioral modification and perception influence.

Not to mention, even if we're excluding the risk of kidnapping or external danger - We all know how dangerous it is to leave such young children unattended! Many parents baby-proof their homes to avoid household hazards that may be harmful to toddlers as they have no concept of their own well-being. What if one of the children had taken a fall? What if one of them had wandered outside? Even in a basic hotel room, there are many items such as a plugged in cord that would pose major risks to unattended children! Kids get into EVERYTHING - They had to have known better! Look, I don't have children of my own and might never become a parent but there's NO WAY I would leave my children unattended in a foreign country. Even if this had happened at home in the UK - If the Mccanns had gone out to a pub accross from their home, it still would've been an example of gross negligence! It baffles me that they left the door UNLOCKED - C'mon! You're not even safeguarding your own children from possibly wandering out of the room!
You'd think the parents would've been aware of these risks - Being doctors who were presumably trained in basic childcare. According to their version of events - Which I am honestly reluctant to believe - The blatant neglect demonstrated by the Mccanns is the most damning evidence of how little thought given to their children's well-being. Even if I were to give them the overwhelming benefit of the doubt, the sickening displays of neglect are proof of dangerous ignorance AT LEAST!
Everyone knows that it only takes a few seconds for a tragedy to occur if young children are left unattended. No matter their intentions, this negligence resulted in the presumed death/kidnapping of a child. No matter how guilty they feel, a child - THEIR child went missing! Even if we disregard all of the suspicious post-disappearance behavior such as the disturbing contents of the published book- The Mccanns are NOT fit parents. I can't believe that they are still allowed to go on raising their kids like anyone else.
If we take them at their word - Which, I do not - This never should've happened. This could've been prevented had they locked the door, paid for the babysitting service or made any number of reasonable choices to protect the well-being of their children 😡

Maybe we will never know what happened to the little girl, I'm not an expert in solving crimes, so I can't comment on police procedures and forensic evidence.
What I do know about is parenting, good and bad. I've been working with children in care for over 25 years, many of them victims of neglect.
I can not understand why Madeleine's parents were not immediately charged with neglecting all 3 of their children and were deemed fit to continue looking after the ones that were left.

It's a fair point, but I am not sure if taking their other two children or prosecuting them would have been the right thing to do.
I believe it was Amaral who quoted as saying something along the lines of him believing it to be a 'British custom' to leave their children alone, and even though he's wrong, if he believed that, it might explain why he did not charge the McC's.
As for the UK, well the 'crime' was not committed here.
Apparently, social services claimed that the McC's actions were within the bounds of decent parenting, though I am not sue if I can locate the actual source to that comment.
Regardless of that, if you leave a candle burning and your house burns down, though you are responsible for your stupidity, no one can say that you deserved it. The McC's have only themselves to blame, but that does not mean they deserved to lose their child.
If this is a genuine abduction, and I tend to think it is, then the Mccanns are being punished every day of their lives.

    • @StephanieHarlowe
      @StephanieHarlowe  6 лет назад +27

I never said they deserved it. But they are responsible. Cut and dry facts, if they had been with their children as they should have been, this would not have happened. Did Maddie deserve what happened to her? I am kind of more concerned with the young child, with her whole life in front of her, not making a choice to be left alone and having something terrible happen to her as a direct result of someone else's irresponsibility. Gerry and Kate have done a fair amount of talking about how "they" feel about it, how it's been so hard on THEM and they are suffering every day, just as you have said. It's not about them. It doesn't really matter how they're feeling at this point and if she was abducted, I do believe they are being punished every single day and suffer greatly from it, and I feel horrible for them. At the same time, parents around the world have their children taken from them for MUCH LESS, parents who don't fit the upper middle class white picket fence, educated, white mold that the McCann's carry off so well. That should be noted.

If they hadn't been doctors, the UK press would have called for them to be hung over it and they would have been in handcuffs charged with neglect in a heartbeat. This is a gigantic cover up and they have used and abused their status as trusted doctors to try and talk their way out of this.

I don't think anyone can dispute they were neglectful. I think that's why they were so damn defensive and so misleading; to deflect away from their neglectfulness. But all they managed to do was make themselves look like they actually killed her or got rid of her. They should have been 100% forthcoming from the moment it was discovered she was missing, came clean and admit they should have never left their children alone, show their feelings of guilt, regret, remorse. Those are feelings we can relate to as human beings. But instead they were defending every move, every decision they made, and that made them look like shitty ass parents, and when the public thinks u are shitty parents and your child is missing, it's not a stretch to begin to believe they were involved in her disappearance. They hurt themselves and they hurt the investigation by acting the way they did and making excuses for their actions that night

Actually the video was first published by "The Sun" so probably you can find english articles saying the same about the odour. Dogs don't lie. I don't believe Maddie was killed intentionally but she was definitely killed in that house, personally i imagine something like she was drugged to sleep and the parents could enjoy the night and they used a overdose or something like that. Also one of the men that was with them is a pedofile beliving in what was said by a couple that spent holidays with the Mccanns in Majorca the year before the "disappearance", Martin and Mary Smith, they were also in Portugal with the McCanns at the time and they say that in Majorca they saw Payne having a sexual conversation with Jerry about Maddie. Too many things for someone to believe that the girl is alive or was alive when she leaved the house. Also one old lady that was living, i believe, above the McCanns house in Algarve said she heard a child screaming for like 1 or 2 hours the day before.

I am appalled by Richard Cassidy’s comments about the Roma. This is a population that has been targeted by extreme prejudice for centuries. Mr. Cassidy is merely repeating some of the more cruel biased assumptions about this small migrating group. In fact, the Roma love their children, and their entire community’s are very protective of them. Consider the Roma’s recent tragic history, when they were targeted for extinction by Adolph Hitler. It is estimated that the Germans killed 25% of the European Roma. This kind of trauma resulted in the Roma regarding their children as all the more precious.

I don't think they had something to do with Madeleine's disappearance, but leaving her and even smaller children unattended... it just blows my mind. Abduction wouldn't even enter my head - just mundane things like one of the kids getting sick, or one of them waking up and being upset about their parents not being there (which actually happened previously!), the older child accidentally hurting a smaller child... it's indefensible. And as for leaving the door unlocked... no words.

No matter how it is dressed up, Maddie’s parents are to blame, for leaving Maddie and the boys.
I’m pretty sure there are many folk watching this tragic story,😢 who know all about the circumstances of Maddie’s disappearance and rightly so. Sadly, in 2001 a 21 month old British boy named Ben Needham went missing on the Greek island of Crete. The difference in the publicity and funding were so far apart, it was heartbreaking to witness the disparity and lack of media presence and worldwide support for Ben compared with Madeleine’s case. The McCann funding was around £12m plus massive public donations, with the Needham case receiving approx £1m and much less media coverage. Ben was from a council estate, Maddie’s parents being a Dr & surgeon with friends in high paces, shall we say. Bens mother and family were canvassing the island themselves for many years giving out leaflets and sticking up posters and appealing to the help of locals hoping to bring some news of Bens whereabouts. The boy from the council estate was obviously not of great interest to the news and media world, on the other hand, Maddie was at the time, probably the most talked about and reported on little girl in the world. The two childrens stories were equally heartbreaking but sadly, to the media and government officials, Ben was just a poor little boy from a council estate and to many, not worth the air time or ink on the newspapers. Absolutely shameful press coverage and Bens poor mother must feel such hurt and never ending heartache until her last breath.
Ben & Maddie, forever in our thoughts 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Even if in their own home familiar to the children. They would be investigated at great speed. They would probably be charged for using sedation for convenience alone. So what that the parents were doctors, the sedation of their own children should have had the oversight of another clinician. Was the sedation prescribed by another paediatric physician? Kate & Gerry McCann Statement: June 16th 2020
Since the recent police appeals regarding Madeleine’s disappearance there have been many inaccurate stories reported in the media. The widely reported news that we have a received a letter from the German authorities that states there is evidence or proof that Madeleine is dead is FALSE. Like many unsubstantiated stories in the media, this has caused unnecessary anxiety to friends and family and once again disrupted our lives.
As we have stated many times before, we will not give a running commentary on the investigation- that is the job of the law enforcement agencies and we will support them in any way requested. Furthermore, we do not have a family spokesperson nor are we actively paying any lawyers. Any recent comments attributed in the media have not come from us unless they have been posted on our website. If there are important developments that can be made public, they will be issued through official police channels.

The most telling evidence for me were the dogs, dogs don't have an opinion they are there to do a job and they both detected a dead body in the hotel, teddy and car.
Whether they did it or not, the fact they weren't arrested for child neglect is beyond me, they are terrible parents and don't deserve the title....I don't think Maddie will ever be found, and my heart breaks for that little girl
