Yeah the industry has gone to shit. Not many spin vinyl anymore, let alone live!
The art of mixing has gone, modern DJs rely on white noise, quick transitions and what I like to call stop and drop WAAAY to much. Don't get me wrong, those things are fine and have their place but yeah, when its every single mix it gets tiresome. Nobody does smooth transition mixing any more, with trance its the only way (IMO).
