People always wonder how Might Guy has techniques named in the 8 gates. What if he watched his dad use it and say the names himself. I like that this would mean Might Duy names his final technique after his son.
I also feel like I remember Guy telling Lee to watch closely as he used the 8 gates, bathe band cause he knew the only way to lest them was to see them used by a previous 8 gates user.
That’s a dumb assumption, guy created his own moves, he may have Been able to use sekizo and night guy in the 7th gate but it was to difficult to use so it was saved for the 8th gate. There’s no auto moves for the 8th gate as his techniques are all zodiacs with the day breaks and the last being his name

@Noblesavage31 I don't think it was too difficult to use. Rock Lee used a weaker version of Sekizo when he fought Gaara before using the Hidden Lotus. If you pay attention, it's the move when he is bouncing Gaara around in the air, Sekizo does the same thing, but instead of using the punches, it hits you with air.

It's definitely a shame that the Konoha 13 is just basically team 7 when considering their power level. I honestly think the power levels of the MCs got way too out of hand, and the side characters should have had some of that excess power directed towards them.
2 minor lore corrections:
1) Obito didn't introduce Izanagi, it was introduced by Danzo during his fight with Sasuke. It WAS a massive retcon point for us, though, since Danzo had said that only someone with the blood of the Uchiha and Senju could use Izanagi, which is why he'd implanted himself with many Sharingan and Hashirama's cells. Obito, however, used Izanagi to outgamed Konan and we neither thought he could nor thought he would sacrifice his one Sharingan to use it. That's when he revealed Senju blood was not necessary to use the technique, as well as the 2nd Sharingan hidden behind his mask (which basically had no purpose BUT to be sacrificed for Izanagi, and Obito had a whole storeroom full of those Sharingan, sooo Idk why he wasn't just spamming it constantly.)
2) Team Guy didn't have a number because the numbering system recycles itself once the squad has been together for a year. Upon graduation, each Genin Squad is given a number and assigned a Jonin, but since the lives of ninja are usually so short, those numbers quickly become obsolete as ninja are replaced or disband their teams. That's why they tend to name ninja teams by feats, like the Sannin or Sasuke Retrieval Squad, or after their leader, like we see with Guy. It's clear to see in Konoha, if a squad is together for about a year, they get renamed based on their leader and their squad number applies to the next year's graduating class from the academy. That's why later we hear Squad 8 referred to as "Team Asuma" and why after the timeskip Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi are labeled as "Team Kakashi".
The reason why in OG we hear Teams 7, 8 , and 10 referred to by number is because they all graduated from the academy at the same time, and were obviously still within a year of that graduation. The reason Team Guy doesn't have a number is because they WEREN'T from Naruto's class, they graduated the year prior. That's why Kakashi says Guy "held his team back a year so they could grow in power" when he's telling his squad about the exams.
1. While yes the cells arent necessary... Obito still has them as well. we only learned they are not needed when Itachi explained it during edo tensei
1. It's not rinnegan to need senju blood. Izanagi and izanami were invented by pure blood uchicha.
2. I wouldn't be so sure about the numbering system, as later in Boruto they had really high numbers, and only a request led Borutos team to have number 7.
It was itachi who showed us you don't need senju cells to use those jutsu. Obito had hashirama cells
Obito didn't spam Izanagi because he could already spam Kamui. why use a one-time bail out when you have your own personal infinite transdimensional bail-out with no drawbacks 🏌♂️
Team Guy’s number is 1. Shikamaru tells Neji that he is leaving the enemy to team 1 and they (Neji, Tenten, & Lee) proceed to fight the enemy.
The real strongest team is Shino and his bugs, but you aren't counting divisions in this video.
If i could hear one characters audio book on their life story and everything they’d witnessed from the present group we saw. I’d pick Gaara. Made into a weapon, forged into a leader. He saw 4 hokages in person, if you don’t count the reanimated ones. Fought Madara Uchiha, was basically the only person in the world to tell Naruto what he needed to hear regarding Sasuké, “to become hokage you know what you have to do regarding your friend” ((go save his ass like you did mine no one else can)). Basically shamed the other Kage to alliance. Has battled alien chakra gods, and has overseen the development of a major nation state for decades.
He’s one of very few people to have seen a Susano’o and one of even fewer to have fought one and lived to tell about it. He was a war hero, who started the story as a deranged child murderer whose own siblings feared him. Was an untouchable monster. Got humbled by a kid with no special gifts or abilities, and then to cap it all, we could finally hear about who butchered his hair in Boruto.
Don't forget that Gaara got praised by Madara twice for his talent/power. The only other characters to get such praise were Hashirama, and Gai once he went 8 gates. There's a reasonable argument that Gaara is the strongest non reincarnation shinobi of his generation.
Anyways, if we want to talk about meeting Hokage, I think it's interesting to consider that Sarutobi is the only character to have an on panel interaction with every single Hokage from the first through the ninth (if we take the eighth to be Shikamaru and ninth Konohamaru) without needing Edo Tensei to do it.

Y'know, I'm kinda disappointed that the Kinkaku Force didn't even get an honorable mention. I mean, it's _twenty_ S-Rank Shinobi under the command of Kinkaku and Ginkaku. That's a _lot_ of firepower... and _all_ of it was directed at Tobirama Senju who, to his credit, managed to kill most of them.
They didn't have in screen feats tho just mentioned what they did. We never saw them fight

Well, Nick did say it was going to be between 5-20, and the Kinkaku Force would be at 22 (20 Jonin + the Brothers), which would effectively remove their eligibility.
He said the list is 13 people or less for groups. but I see some people don't listen.

Also it is stated that it was at least 20 ninja in that team so it could have been more and we have zero feats for any of them aside from the brothers whos only feats we have are they killed Tobirama and ate their way out of the 9 tails

@@rexeno sound village four are too small (in my opinion) they are strong but, if you consider akatsuki as group then I suppose you can consider sound 4,as a team, and if you see sauske rescue team they are also a group friends trying to save a friend (kinda) the only difference being sauske rescue team was formed by an order and rukia rescue team was not, they afterwards were joined by renji and two other people ( squad four guy and another character I can't remember his name ,also 3 captain also somewhat help them)

A few fun facts for you: 1) We know the name of 3 members of Yahiko's original Akatsuki besides the Ame Orphans- Kie and Kyusuke both appeared in the manga and anime. Then there is an anime only member named Daibutsu!
2) Team Gai does have a number that was just revealed - They were Team 3!
Team Guy don't get a # because their class is 1 year advance in Naruto, Guy holds them back from entering the Chunin Exams 1 year in order for them to be better prepared and that's when they meet the 9 other genin.

Here's how Naruto gets his old glory back and becomes relevant again without becoming a jinchuriki again when he's unsealed:
Go to inu to read his mind to retrieve everything kurama told him word for word about how BM works. Take that knowledge to Oruchimaru and tell him to assist him in applying that knowledge to sage mode. Oruchimaru will probably come up with something where he utilizes boil release or lava release or both simultaneously to heat up the chakra to the temperature required and voila, you have Naruto with the ability to use bm without anyone having to suffer or die
It would still destroy Naruto's chakra and kill him and I don't think Nature energy would be able to be used as a substitute for chakra especially a tailed beasts chakra which is more potent than ordinary chakra.

Temari grew up in the sand where fans are used almost everyday for ninja like her, i think naruto would be good at it but he wouldn’t know everything Temari does (and he’s the type of guy to rasengan and talk no jutsu his enemies)

Man up to the Kage Summit, Naruto was at its peak. They had to battle the Akatsuki, coming up with ways to kill them. Afterwards it was just the biggest rasengan won

While I do agree with this list, I do think that the other members of Konoha 13 aren’t just carried by team 7, and deserves respect. Most of them are Akatsuki level by the time of the blank period and Boruto.This will be a lengthy, but
Shikamaru- he was able to defeat Hidan, and is the one to come up with the plan of using Kakuzu’s blood, and was keeping up with Kakuzu, and his shadow possession would later get strong to being able to restrain the likes of Momoshiki and Eida
Ino- was always a smart battle tactician. In both the og Naruto and Naruto Shippuden chunin exams retake, she showed a high level of battle iq. Trapping Sakura in her hair trap and even fooled Kakashi with her tantrum, and then in the retake, she purposely acted over confident and got taken out when in reality she did that so she can observe the enemy, and relay those abilities to Sakura and Choji. She was also stated to have mastered all of the Yamanaka clans abilities, is can enhance her punches since she either trained with Sakura or Tsunade, and in the novel was able to taijutsu a group of tailed beast 1 cloak anbu alongside Sai and Sakura, and fast enough to dodge laser like attacks.
Lee- stated to have surpassed Gai by the time of Boruto and we know how strong he is
Tenten- while she’s one of the weakest in the 13, she was able to keep up with Kakuzu’s hearts during the war, has access to those sacred tools which are really powerful, and still kept fighting on despite how much chakra it drains from you, and she also helped team 10 and Darui against Kinkaku and Ginkaku
Kiba- Kiba is surprisingly smart and powerful. In his fight against Sakon/Ukon, he was able to puncture the Rashomon summon which was stated to be Orochimaru’s strongest defense, and Kiba basically took one of the brothers out the fight with dynamic marking. Also that Kunai Akamaru trap was really a smart diversion. If Kiba knew about their abilities, he honestly likely could’ve won. In the war arc, he’s able to create shadow clones and easily shred through the 10 tail clones, and his nose is really powerful and he can smell chakra levels, and in the novel he destroyed a large meteor all alone with some powerful jutsu he created which saved the village
Choji-by the time of Boruto is likely one of the strongest ninja in the village as he is still an active ninja, and he was able to create a tornado with his butterfly form in the last episodes of Shippuden, and can use the butterfly form while he is giant, and was able to help hold off the Gedo statue which is really impressive
Sai- him and Kankuro did most of the work against reanimated Deidara and Sasori, and we know how difficult of a time Deidara gave team 7 and team Gai, and what it took Sakura and Chiyo to defeat Sasori. You could argue that reanimated Sasori didn’t have access to everything, but still fighting Deidara and Sasori together is probably just as impressive, and in the novel version of the Shikamaru Hiden, possessed Sai defeated and wounded Temari
Hinata- Hinata is regarded as the strongest Hyuga alive, has Hagaromo’s chakra, is a master of the gentle fist style, easily defeated Hanabi who is the current head of the hyuga and was a prodigy, and Hinata was able to fight Momoshiki and Kinshiki and live
Shino- he was always strong, but now he has access to the insects that Torune had which is really lethal, and Shino is also very smart with the way he uses his insect clones.
Neji- was also one of the strongest Hyuga only being second to Hinata (Last Movie Hinata and onward), was able to easily escape water prison, he was just waiting for the right opportunity to, is very fast and at least relative to the first and second gate Lee forms in Shippuden, is one of the strongest close quarter ninja in the hidden leaf and has very fast reaction speed, and having the gentle fist means he can nullify a lot of chakra based jutsu. In the novel for example when Shisui and Itachi fought this one part Hyuga, that Hyuga member was able to disperse the fire ball justu with the gentle fist, has the air palm, and the byakugan to see any traps or see through genjutsu, and most of these apply to Hinata as well.
But considering who is number 2 they are just push overs.

Naruto losing in the Valley of Death wasn't plot, it was because of Naruto's blinding pettiness. Sasuke said Naruto couldn't put a scratch on his headband, sonar to focus all his energy into doing just that.
Yeah naruto had access to summoning, technically he could have just summoned gamabunta and the fight would be over.

What makes you think that Gamabunta would have helped Naruto fight Sasuke? I feel like he would have said that it's Naruto's battle.

I give the Konoha group in the sasuke retrieval arc more credit. People have to understand that the curse mark is senjutsu chakra aka sage mode charka. When the sound 4 goes to their second stage they are basically pseudo sages. So genin level ninja besides Shikamaru, Naruto and Neji they was all chunin level.
