Hi Steve! That's one way to look at it, but the merit of a virtual network is undeniable. 🙂 Virtual networks allow us to connect between partitions on a server or even across multiple servers. We can create several virtual networks on a managed system and then connect the partitions to those networks. The system designed to program home user software whiteboard via network data, that which becomes the course materials, thus, university and schooling typed structures are evolved by home use. Obviously, this could become a repetitive process.

Like any other resource, a virtual network needs to exist in a resource group. You can either select an existing resource group or create a new one.

you dont have to actually buy physical routers, switches, etc and add as many as you want
