I heard your guys the first time back in the early 2000s when I was looking for unknown music to me in a CD store in Tucson Arizona, and to my luck and surprise they had your album Smile playing through the overhead speaker system... Woww I said Who are those guys ... I went home with my copy of Smile in my shopping bag and ready to listen, and listen, and listen... I fell in love with every song, especially "A break in the clouds", "Broken harpoon" and "Better days"... Amazing, the whole CD Great!!!... Until this day Guys in January 2024 you are one of my favorite bands through the years since Smile more than 23 years ago...
Thanks so much for so many great songs which I am sure will accompany me way beyond today and tomorrow... Many blessings to every member of your great Band.

After my sisters suicide, I came to love this song immensely. It captured my sisters spirit and my memory of her driving a little strip of highway between her home and mine(at the time). How you were able to hold that note brought such joy to my heart that still prevails each time I hear it. Thanks a ton.

Its because of the top 40 stations with their programmed playing. When one is fed a diet of McDonalds, they fail to realize filet mignon exists. The Jayhawks are my filet mignon. I thank God for the former radio station WOXY that introduced me to The Jayhawks some decade(s) ago. Luckily WNKU has somewhat taken its place.
