Does the block write itself though? My token could be chosen at random, to validate the block, but yet that happens automatically? I don’t have to do anything except hold? How does that work? How do we know the token is validating the block correctly?
This is very exciting but I'm having a bit of trouble finding anything on how, by holding algo in your wallet, you are voting. For example, if I hold algo in trezor, or exodus, or a paper wallet for that matter, where do I 'vote'. Do you have any links to resources available?
Hi - the consensus voting mechanism occurs on your account and it happens in the background. So there are no messages back and forth to wallets or apps. Its only on the chain that your participation in consensus is recorded.

Maybe I'm thinking about it wrong but it seems that I have an address on the blockchain with the private key to transact but then if my address is selected what computer is processing this update task and how does my 'account' have what's necessary to verify and where does the processing power come from for the actual verification?
