I don't disagree, atleast he's showing it and explaining why and even who is chemist is. Not just saying his brand is the best and because he's been an influencer for years that his opinion should be trusted. The highest quality raw ingredients go suck rope pan lol. The gibberish you spew is so to try and prove your point is so infomercial, and independent reviews are proving you wrong
I make it a point to try 2 - 3 different spray on ceramic type products per year. As far as application goes, this stuff is truly the best product I have ever used. I won't be able to comment on the durability for a few months, but I have high hopes. Thanks Jimbo!
Hi Jimbo, How would you say this compares to TW hybrid Solution Ceramic Spray Coating in regards to ease of use and performance? I've followed your channel for a short while and just came across your Hard as Shell Ceramic coating which made me curious.
It’s easier to use and last longer with better gloss and no streaks. IMO it’s all around easier to use and you get a better result. Thanks for watching!!
@@autodetailingpodcast Do you know if they are getting border fees? I have all the stuff in the cart and ive justified the 84 dollars in shipping but border fees would be too much.
Interesting video. I really would like to use your spray coating. Too bad you don't have a rinseless yet, living in an apartment building I can't use your soap. FYI on the Canadian Amazon site the bottle is described as 16 ml and that is wrong. It should say 16 oz or 473 ml.
Jimbo’s TAS is one of the slickest spray ceramics too. Tons of durability and hydrophobicity claims out there, but I’d love to see a slickness comparison. TAS is silky smooth, so satisfying.
@@Chancy454SS kind of agree with you. I applied to my wifes car that gets the auto car wash treatment. I applied it after a wash and clay towel, no polish or surface prep and got almost 3 months out of the old formula. I was very impressed with how easy it was to apply. I didn't get 6 months out of it, but we take it to an automatic car wash that beat the crap out of the paint.
15:50 you mention only about 2 oz are needed for a car using regular application, do you have an estimate how much is needed for the spray and rinse application? 4 oz? 6? 8?
If you are doing a spray on ceramic selant, such as Seal 'N Shine, and it is streaking, simply remove with damp mf towel. I have never seen streaking from Seal 'N Shine, but I have with their Hybrid ceramic spray. I have used Griot's 3 in 1 ceramic spray with no streaking. And it seems durable...
Griots is the standard for off the shelf longevity for sure. If you work in direct sunlight or humid environments (I live and work outdoors in Ohio) streaking is very real for Griots and SnS. Jimbs was impressively great against streaking even in bad conditions (90+ degrees and 60+% RH) conditions.
@@autodetailingpodcast I have been using meguiar's bug & tar remover, works but I notice I am having to do 2 treatments of it most of the time. I don't mind using the bug scrubber but I'd prefer if I could just treat it, then come through with the pressure washer and blast them off. More often than not it removes that inital layer of them, but still have that bug residue on the paint I live in Arizona btw. Super hot panels
I personally use the super Soaper in a pump sprayer and if needed a big sponge. I’ve also had great success with just an APC, a lot of people comment saying they also love dark fury. I would try one of those and see how it goes!
@@autodetailingpodcast I appreciate your knowledge, reaching back out, all the informative and educational content, means a lot! I am going to to try dark fury as in this little quest that one keeps coming up! Thank you once again & keep up the awesome content! Much love!
JMHO on the macro and micro ive heard when i was in college lol,,,Using macro emul common because of its easy to produce and stable which is not a bad idea, using micro emul is not an easy route because eveything has to mesh with each other including the surfactants u use, ph level, temp and etc which most companies does not choose this route because the product can fail at any given stage. So i understand why companies go the macro route. Now for the benefits, micro is better than macro for its filling and how it stays on the panel BUT the panel needs to be prepped right and also change the packaging as Micro emul are sensitive to UV, Jimbo tough sealant is good product (i have included it on my rotation of sealants) that can go head to head with the best, my suggestion is to educate on how the product should be use, stored and what products it cannot be mixed with and all that to maximize the sealing property of the product and have a consistent results everytime. Lastly to preserve the chemical inside, keep it much more stable and not have any headaches in the future which can be costly is to switch to a dark bottle. Now what's for lunch? lol
@ what u just did is no easy task not to mention time , props to u and ur guys for taking up the challenge on producing something that people might not appreciate now? But in the future they’ll understand and will appreciate how ur pushing the envelope towards creating products, keep it Jimbo as ive watch and seen your frustration as i share the same feeling of companies being stale and just repackage their stuff for others hence we end up with the same exact product with a little bit of changes here and there and please keep exposing these products that has no business in the detailing realm.
To be honest your my favorite definitely more trust worthy than pan, but you killed your supper soaker by suggesting 4 ounces what a terrible launch don't think you will recover from that.
4 oz for a touchless wash is good. Bilt Hamber for example, the market leader in the category, recommends a 2% pir which can be more than 6oz depending on the flow rate of your pressure washer.
Your more real than pan. Good luck with your product

Super pleased with Tough as Shell! Impressed with how easy it works and longevity...great job!
Great to hear!
Love this spray coating bro!🙌
Thank you!!
Hi, any plans to ship to South Africa?
I can do it. It just might be a little expensive - send me an email and I can get you a quote Jimbo @jimbosdetailing.com
My favorite spray has been tec582, but I recently tried cerakote spray sealant. Pleasant user experience. Want to give this a go!
Tec is nice. Not super durable but easy to use for sure.
Hey Jimbo, whats the shelf life on a gallon of Tough as Shell when stored in a garage out of direct sunlight. Temps from 45-85 F?
I've bought the 16oz and loved the product for ease of use, but I think i'd like a gallon to split into sealant and detail spray configurations.
about 4-5 years. It stays good for a long, long time.
Do you have a distributor for your products in the UK, as the price of shipping on your site is way too much than I want to pay? Thanks Jimbo
Not yet.
Can I find anything in Canada? So many good products are not available to me up here.
Shipping to Canada every day!

the time wasted dealing with streaks isn't worth measly 19 💷
