@@SpeckyMcSporran Used it today. Worked really well! I love it! But damn, that thing sucks out the whole container of soap really fast! Gonna have to learn to blanket my entire S Class Mercedes with one tank if it's possible. There was some wind so that didn't help, but I really wanted to try it. I think I'll be able to get the whole car covered with one tank in the right conditions. Thanks again!
I have the new MJJC foam cannon. Following your review/comparison between the two I went for that. I’ve also seen the small handles like you’ve got I will be getting a Karcher K4. How do I know which small Lance fits onto the snow cannon cause it’s got a Karcher attachment on it.
Just ordered one , looked at the MTM Hydro but I managed to get the MJJC Pro for £32 delivered which is quite a bit cheaper than the MTM .Also I prefer the much wider base and filling neck which are a much better design
Nice review ;) I got mine from MJJC this week also and released that video yesterday. I was very much impressed with it also and it will be my primary foam cannon now. Will need to try though with some other shampoos and different dilution ratios too.
Interesting lance with some brilliant features I think when you swapped the orifice the spray pattern changed slightly with the infinity wax foam , it took 6 passes on a narrower angle compared to 3 passes with a wider angle with the 1.25 orifice 🤔
My 1.1mm orifices arrived today from amazon. Payed a little less than $7 usd for two and some kind of sponge/foam piece. Excited to test it out to see the same kind of difference. (I have the cheap amazon foam cannon as well)
Very impressive... I've been using the same, cheap, lance that came with a bottle of, let's call it 'lesser-known' branded snowfoam from amazon. It does the job but I've been contemplating upgrading recently and wondering if it worth spend upwards if £50... To be honest though, if you can reduce your concentration levels then, realistically, this will pay for itself within a couple of years whilst making the cleaning, potentially, even more enjoyable (plus less wastage spilling down the sides as I add the product!). I'll be able to borrow a flat head from my neighbour, Philip. So I'll be borrowing Philip's flat head... This won't get confusing! Let's hope I don't have to go to my other neighbour's house to borrow a philips - I don't know his name but he has got quite a flat head... 🤔
I bought one of these cannons but I do find that it still leaks when turned upside down to mix product just the same as my cheaper cannon which I’ve had for years. Very frustrating as I was under the impression that they didn’t leak. Any ideas?
They have small breather holes on the top to avoid the flow creating a vacuum. They're not designed to be used or flipped upside down, just spin the bottle around to mix your product.
@@SpeckyMcSporran I’ve just realised that the fitting on the back was loose😂 I also turned the airflow tap fully clockwise and it seems to stop the leak.👍🏻
Good review. Have you got a open end style on your hoselock connector ? I think the style with the cut off valve on the only flows when connected to something is limiting my water flow as the valve takes up space. If that makes sense ?
I get you. I have a stop valve on mine so it doesn't flow when disconnected. Hasn't caused me any issues so far but I might test the flow rate to be sure.
If I was paying that sort of money for a SF lance i'd have to look at myself in the mirror for a very long time. I think I'd just spend the £5 for a new orifice, a couple of quid on a new gauze filter and look out the PTFE tape TBH. If its not broke, dont fix it :)
@@SpeckyMcSporran it looks like a decent well thought out product, but if I was in the market for a new lace of that price range, I'd probably look at the MTM Hydro, but the Autoglym one would be the one I'd more likely settle on.
If you're a complete beginner then there's nothing wrong with the one from Argos for £50. If you're polishing on a daily basis then you'll want something like Flex or Rupes but they're much more expensive.
@@SpeckyMcSporran to bad! Sometimes soaps make the device more efficient, if you have good soap you didn’t have to get such expensive foam cannon besides im sure this foam cannon is going to take forever to get here to usa where im from, it comes from China right?
This video was a lot more interesting than I was expecting! How much more can you say about foam cannons? Quite a bit it turned out. MJJC have added a lot of value in their package. I went down the £10 Chinese route and wasn't sorry. It works fine and I don't use it very often at all. But if you are in to SF then its a great offer. I have an old 100 bar pressure washer so I may well look at changing out the nozzle, thanks for the tip! No prizes for second either, I presume :)
Honestly I wasn't sure how much I'd be able to say about it but the more I learned about it the more I found was worth saying. Sorry, no prizes for second but I'll be doing a giveaway on my Instagram hopefully soon so make sure you follow me!
Nice review specky! Very interesting to see the foam aspect of it, i started to used Maxed Powered TFR recently as an alternative to snow foam just to see how it fared. I could see the thicker foam helping the TFR stay on the panel longer or a citrus cleaner. Do you think at the price its value for money? One last thing mate, no more close ups of the auld finger nails please 🤣🤣🤣 unless you clean them!! Stay safe mate and really enjoy the content 🌈🌈🌈
@@SpeckyMcSporran Surprised the Mrs hasn't got you in the nail polish yet or hand lotion (which is lovely btw). A quick conversion £48 ish, offty but i can see how i might be an option and if it last then its a good deal too!! 🌈👍
Great vid. I've had loads of MJJC stuff on the aliexpress videos, and 90% of it is always very well made and actually lasts. Never tried their lances though. I have got that Volodymyr one to test at some point though and that's only like 20quid incl delivery. So that'll be one test I'm personally very interested in. Secondly, and you alluded to it at the beginning, if you have anything like a Karcher K4/K5/K7, the 1.1mm change will cause you really bad back pressure and actually cause issues with your machine pulsating on and off. It's fine however for lower models such as a K2 which doesnt have as high a pressure originally.
Cheers Dave, I was reading about Karchers having issues with back pressure. Thankfully my little Nilfisk is lower pressure and the 1.1mm orifice creates massive foam for me 😎
Specky McSporran as a cheap Scotsman 😂 would you pay that for it? I like the wide base to the bottle, definitely makes the more stable that thinner bottles when in use and put down
Nice review , and you do generally get what you pay for .. If I used Magifoam through 1.1 nozzle I’d be able to leave it overnight 😂 “Now there’s a idea”
Before testing I'd say no, but after making the video I'd say maybe. It's still a lot of money to me but if I was a little more flush with cash then I'd probably buy it.

No worries, you can adjust the top dial to make the foam a little thinner which will make the solution go a bit further.
