There was a TV show like this years ago, named Nowhere Man, but it was a Man out to dinner with his wife and when he returns from the restroom she is gone and everyone and everything in his life acts as though he never existed.
One of the best movies with the “unexplained disappearance” plot is “Dying Room Only” from 1973, starring Chloris Leachman and Ned Beatty. Leachman and her spouse (Dabney Coleman) stop at a roadside diner during a road trip. While Leachman is in the restroom, Coleman disappears. Pretty much the entire film takes place in the diner and is an amazing piece of work by Chloris Leachman.
The pitch: Middle aged lady, untrained in espionage etc successfully out runs all the hostiles that have all that training. Ok! Lets green light the making of this movie.
everyday person defies all the odds is a trope for sure, but it creates good entertainment when done right. Die Hard being one of the best known examples :)
First she is a movie where she goes to sleep and wakes up with a dead guy in her bed. Now, she goes to sleep and wakes up to find her dude has vanished. Take about being typecast.
And that kind of person that if i'm dating you and you disappear, vanish..... i continue on with my day until you either call me or tell me what's up other than that I am not going around looking for nobody...

Tell me how the chase with that dude in the helmet ends up and how her conversation with that woman goes. Explain away

Glad to see Kaley doing a movie. Too bad no one will ever see it. The story is not believable. Fiction needs to be presented as just that. Fantasy needs to presented like hypothetical. This is attempting to propose true, serious, honest questions and play out how they might go in reality. We were given no background information on the characters. Who are they? How do they relate to average us's out here? Why should we care about them? A boyfriend leaves a girlfriend. On a train. In seemingly France. In modern times. The end. Boring background noise on a plane during a night flight when we are trying to sleep. Hopefully she lands something better in the future.
